The Cursed Skull is another Easter egg that players can look to complete in Fortune's Keep, the latest map to be released for Call of Duty: Warzone. Unlike the popular Dragon Stirs challenge, though, the Cursed Skull is not only shorter but also fairly easier.

All you need to do is locate a hidden room keeping the Cursed Relic Item and then secure a specific number of kills to receive the storied Wunderwaffle DG-2 wonder weapon from the Zombies mode. You will, however, attract the attention of all nearby enemy squads while doing the challenge. So, as always, playing solo will raise the difficulty ceiling in Warzone.

Remember that if you are looking for more (and better) loot, you can always break into the secret vault in Fortune's Keep.

Fortune's Keep is the latest map in Call Of Duty: Warzone and can be a fast-paced and complex challenge for players to navigate. Here are some tips!

How to Complete the Warzone Cursed Skull Easter Egg in Fortune’s Keep

Warzone Fortune's Keep Cursed Skull Quest Location

Start by heading to the Overlook point of interest, which lies in the western corner of Fortune's Keep. Then parachute your way to the roof of a distinct white castle tower (coordinates: 3314.133, 1561.897) as shown in the image below.

There is a ladder here that goes all the way down. When you reach the middle section of the ladder, look to your side to spot some wooden planks barricading a secret room. They can be a bit hard to see depending on your screen brightness. The Cursed Skull is inside this room, so you need to destroy the barricade to start the Warzone Easter egg in Fortune's Keep.

The only way to destroy the wooden barricade is to use a piece of explosive. Climb down to the ground floor and then throw a cooked Frag Grenade, or use a Semtex or a C4 to blow up the secret entrance. Now, make your way into the hidden room to find the Cursed Skull on a wooden table. There will also be a lot of notes that warn you against picking up the skull, which naturally means that you need to do the opposite.

The moment you pick up the Cursed Skull, the Easter egg challenge will begin, and you will be immediately redeployed to a random location on the Fortune's Keep map in Warzone.

You will not be able to open your parachute after being redeployed but do not worry because the fall damage will not kill you.

Check your inventory, and there will be a number next to the Cursed Skull. You need to kill these many players without dying to lift the curse and complete the Cursed Skull quest in Warzone. Something important to note here is that the number of kills required is currently set to five, but it was three when Fortune's Keep was released in Season 2. It might be that the number changes every time the Cursed Relic Item is picked up.

Finishing off downed enemies counts towards the Cursed kills, even if you were not the one to down the player in the first place.

Keep in mind that an enemy player can pick up the Cursed Skull from your dead body and continue the challenge. So, if you manage to get three out of five kills before dying, someone else can loot the skull from your corpse and finish the quest by securing the remaining two kills. This also means that you do not necessarily have to start the Cursed Skull Easter egg in Fortune's Keep. Since the player carrying the skull will leave behind a purple smoke trail, you can start hunting them instead to complete the challenge faster.

Warzone Fortune's Keep Wunderwaffe DG-2 Wonder Weapon

Once the required number of kills has been secured, a message will appear to confirm that you have broken the curse. A few seconds later, a special skull-marked crate will drop at your location that contains the Wunderwaffe DG-2 wonder weapon along with other items.

Dating back to the Call of Duty: World at War maps, the Wunderwaffe DG-2 has appeared in several installments over the years. It uses three light bulbs as Tesla power tubes to generate electricity charges to zap enemies.

The only problem is that in a fast-paced game like Warzone, the Wunderwaffe DG-2 can be a difficult weapon to pin down enemies with. It has a long reload time with low bullet velocity and an annoying delay between shots.

The damage, as well, is not something to write home about. While the first zap does take away the enemy armor, you need to land a second shot to fry the enemy player. You will most probably be forced to switch to your submachine guns to secure the close-quarter engagement.
