Nintendo's frantic microgame-filled party title WarioWare: Get it Together! brought a solid selection of games to test the reaction speed of players. The game has received a warm reception from players and critics alike, with fans excited to see the franchise return on Switch. The game's success has also left many players wondering whether or not Nintendo will release any DLC for the title, especially with its post-launch support on games like Mario Golf: Super Rush,Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

WarioWare: Get it Together! is already a big package with many characters to play and over 200 unique microgames for players to learn and solve. There are some fantastic microgames already, with many fans labeling some as the best across the entire series. However, a game like WarioWare is always well served by adding additional content to keep things fresh, whether it be additional modes, playable characters, or packs of new microgames. There are quite a few directions Nintendo could take the DLC, so hopefully it has some plans to do so that have yet to be announced.

What WarioWare: Get it Together! DLC Could Look Like

One possibility for DLC in WarioWare: Get it Together! is additional characters with new abilities. This would not only give players more options, but would also add new ways to complete all of the existing microgames already included, potentially doing a lot for the title's replayability. There are many options players would be excited to see, such as 13-Amp, the often-neglected Waluigi, or even crossover characters from games like Rhythm Heaven. There are many interesting abilities that new characters could bring to the game, and it would be cool to see what the developers come up with now that the game has been in the hands of players for some time.

New modes could also bring a lot to the game and help flesh out the content offered by WarioWare. One mode that many fans would likely enjoy is a custom mix option that would let them create a list of their favorite microgames to bundle together and play through on shuffle. This would be excellent for parties, or just for players who have certain games they'd rather avoid.

Another fun possibility is a new mode using the Switch's motion controls to come up with a variety of new games that take full advantage of them. This could be large enough to count as an entire expansion, but would be more than worth the investment and could add an entirely new dynamic to the game.

Of course, Nintendo could release smaller content packs that include more microgames if it wants to help keep the game fresh as well. These would be a great way to help keep the game alive, and could even be themed around upcoming releases like Breath of the Wild 2 with microgames or even special cosmetic options for players to unlock. It wouldn't be surprising if Nintendo doesn't release any DLC for the game, but hopefully it capitalizes on the strong foundation that is already there.
