Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a first-person shooter originally released in 2022 for PC. The game was developed by Fatshark, and works in a similar way to other Warhammer games made by the studio, focusing on co-op action with up to four players, who can customize their characters in several ways. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide was met with mixed reviews last year due to performance issues, achieving 74 on Metacritic, but managed to get the attention of many FPS fans.

Now, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has been released for Xbox Series X/S, and it’s currently available on Game Pass. While the title has not been officially released for Xbox One, it can be currently played via Microsoft’s cloud gaming service. This means that the title will not be running natively on the console, but will still work as intended as long as the gamer maintains a stable internet connection. It’s important to note, however, that a Game Pass subscription is necessary to access the catalog of cloud-based games.
Aside from Xbox One, Xbox Cloud Gaming also works on mobile and some smart TVs, which means that Warhammer 40,000: Darktide can also be played on these devices without issues. In fact, the list of platforms supporting this service is about to be expanded soon. Last month, Microsoft and Meta announced that Xbox Cloud Gaming would come to Meta Quest by December.
