Warframe has a ton of resources that players can unlock either across the dozens of missions found in the first Star Chart, the multiple open-world MMO modes that the game has, Railjack systems, or Archwing missions. Some resources are rarer than others but Rubedo is a common resource. Nevertheless, a lot of Rubedo is needed to build everything that requires it so players may be looking to make the farm quicker and more efficient.

Some missions are better for farming Rubedo than others and it is more efficient for players to make sure they run missions intentionally in order to save time in the long run. Rubedo can be found on the planets Earth, Phobos, Lua, Europa, Pluto, and the Void so all the best nodes for the resources will be found there. Rubedo can also be obtained as a Daily Login reward but it's of course better for players not to wait for this in order to find the resource. Warframe is a game with great PvE multiplayer and it's always advisable to farm for resources with another player in the lobby.

6 Stickney - Phobos

The mission Stickney on Phobos on Warframe

Stickney is a level 10-25 Survival mission running the Corpus Ship tileset. Being a Survival mission players can run around the map venturing to all of the Life Support Modules that drop, meaning they have a better chance of grabbing all of the Rubedo the node has to offer in a 5-minute run. Players can run one of the best Warframe shotguns for extra fun gameplay killing everything in their path.

This is an early-game mission, so players shouldn't have to wait too long before they unlock it. However, once they have unlocked better planets and nodes on the Star Chart, it is advised to move on to more lucrative nodes for Rubedo farming.

5 Any Earth Void Relic Mission

A Void Relic mission on Earth on Warframe

Newer players may not know much about the Void Relic system yet, but more experienced players will. Void Relics are special missions wherein players must obtain 10 reactant as well as complete the mission type as normal. Once the mission has been completed and reactant obtained, the player will unlock a Prime part, which could be for weapons, Warframes, Archwings, and much more. Earth is also one of the best places to farm Neurodes in Warframe.

These Void Relics are all on rotation meaning different parts can be obtained throughout the year and can be found anywhere on the Star Chart, including Earth. While Earth is not a great choice for farming Morphics usually, it is when the player is running a Void Relic mission. Farming Void Relics on Earth not only nets players with a decent amount of Rubedo but also the chance of earning rare Prime parts that can be later sold for Platinum or Ducats.

4 Hieracon - Pluto

The Hieracon mission on Pluto on Warframe

Hieracon is a Dark Sector Excavation mission on Pluto that is ideal for experienced players who have a competent loadout to handle the difficult planet. Hieracon has enemies ranging between 35-45 and runs on the Corpus Outpost tile set. Players who are running one of Warframe's best sniper rifles will be able to protect two Excavators at once, farming Cryotic faster.

While an Excavation mission on Pluto can be difficult for players to run, it is a great source of Rubedo due to the increased Drop Rate for when a Tenno is running a little low. In addition, it provides a great source of Affinity helping a player to level up through their Mastery Fodder quicker.

3 Amarna - Sedna

The Amarna mission on Sedna on Warframe

Amarna on Sedna is not the faint heart, being on one of the final planets from the original Star Chart that players will unlock. Amarna is a level 35-45 Survival mission on the Corpus Outpost tile set. Being a Survival mission, players will run around the map naturally to keep up with the various spawning Life Support Modules, meaning they have a higher chance of finding all the Rubedo on the node. Endless missions such as this one are also great places to farm Salvage.

Players should also run the Loot Detector mod in order to make finding the Rubedo easier, and running a Desecrate Nekross is also a good idea to assist in farming and make the time to obtain the amount of Rubedo needed shorter. Sedna is a late-game planet so it is important for players to bring a loadout that can handle the enemies.

2 Ani - Void

The Ani mission in the Void on Warframe

Ani is a Survival mission in the Void with enemies ranging from level 20-25 under the Orokin Tower tile set. Ani can be a great place for dropping Rubedo and with the advantage of awarding players with Void Relics and with Argon Crystals, Ani is a great tile for players to run. Warframe is a sci-fi MMO with gorgeous graphics, and the Void has an impressive level design that players can enjoy while farming.

The enemies aren't too difficult so players can run lower-ranked weapons and equipment in order to level up while obtaining Rubedo, Argon Crystals, and Void Relics. This type of efficiency in farming is very helpful to the player in the long run so it is advised they get comfortable spending a lot of time on Ani.

1 Zeugma - Phobos

The mission Zeugma on Phobos on Warframe

A Dark Sector Survival mission, Zeugma is perhaps the best place in Warframe to farm Rubedo as well as one of the best places to farm Plastids. It can help players get the amount they need very quickly. Zeugma has enemies ranging from level 15-25 and runs on the Grineer Asteroid tile set.

Zeugma has an increased drop rate chance due to being a Dark Sector mission and stacked with Nekross running Desecrate the amount of Rubedo players can get each run is impressive. While it isn't the best mission for farming Affinity and other resources alongside Rubedo, it is great for players looking for early-game resources such as Rubedo and Plastids.

Warframe was released in 2013 and is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox One Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
