While many experienced Warframe players have settled into their weekly grind in the Undercroft, it can be daunting for new and returning players to try and figure out how to build their decrees the first time they try out the game mode. When Warframe's Duviri Paradox update added a rogue-like gameplay experience to the established framework of the Origin System, it completely changed the way players would have to approach the new content.

It's not hard to bring beloved equipment into the Undercroft and make it work, though, if players know what they're doing. These are the best decrees to pick for players who are trying to make an effective ranged build in Duviri.

9 Nimble Gunner

Warframe Nimble Gunner decree chosen within Duviri's Circuit.

A decent decree for highly mobile Warframes, Nimble Gunner lets players take advantage of an increased ammo economy - with a catch. In order to increase Ammo Efficiency, players will need to constantly be rolling around.

Each time players take this decree, it increases their Ammo Efficiency upon rolling by 25%, up to a maximum of 75%. This is great for ranged weapons that burn through ammo quickly, but the effect only lasts for 4 seconds, before players need to hit the dirt and get rolling around again.

8 Ranger's Reload

Warframe Ranger's Reload decree in action as Volt Warframe performs a roll in the air.

The Ranger's Reload decree is very similar to Nimble Gunner, but it can easily be argued that this is a straight upgrade. Whereas Nimble Gunner increases the player's Ammo Efficiency, Ranger's Reload instead completely reloads a weapon when players perform a dodge roll.

Nimble Gunner might be preferential for weapons that quickly run out of ammo, but in most situations, a quick reload will reign supreme. There's no quicker reload than an instant reload, and for that reason, Ranger's Reload is one of the better decrees to pick up for ranged builds.

7 Irresistible Bombardment

Warframe Irresistible Bombardment causes Tenora Prime to fire with extreme speed.

This decree is another massive upgrade for fully automatic weapons. With the Irresistible Bombardment decree, players will see a noticeable buff to their fire rate with every shot fired from their weapon. This snowball effect can lead to an insanely fast whirlwind of lead - players will shred through enemies like they're made of paper.

When this decree is at its max rank, the fire rate buff caps out at 300%. This is a massive buff to weapons with large magazines that often need a boost to be viable, such as the Gorgon weapon variants.

6 Twofold Torment

Warframe Twofold Torment impact damage from Hek.

When it comes to status damage weapons, there's no better decree than Twofold Torment. This rare decree serves a very simple purpose: doubling all the outgoing status damage players deal.

This is a massive buff for infested weapons, such as the Toxocyst and Bubonico, as well as various other elemental weapons, such as the Fulmin.

5 Duelist's Advantage

Warframe Duelist's Advantage allows a Hek shot to one hit an enemy in the Circuit.

This decree is a massive boon to players wielding weapons with high base damage and low magazine sizes. When the Duelist's Advantage decree is chosen, players do up to 400% more damage with their first shot fired after reloading.

This decree can be paired off with other decrees such as Ranger's Reload, allowing players to quickly take advantage of the damage buff with nearly every shot fired.

4 Persistent Attrition

Warframe Persistent Attrition decree chosen in Duviri's Circuit.

It's always great to gain buffs as players attack the enemy; decrees like Irresistible Bombardment have already proven that. But no decree does this better than Persistent Attrition, allowing players to weaken the enemy by hitting them with successive shots.

With this rare decree, every shot players land on an enemy makes them 10% more vulnerable to damage. This quickly snowballs into massive damage and makes many of the weaker fully automatic weapons in the game viable in Duviri.

3 Blazing Bombardment

Warframe Blazing Bombardment decree in the "Choose Your Decree" screen.

The Blazing Bombardment decree is great for fully automatic builds, or ranged weapon builds that can output several high damage rounds very quickly.

With this decree, every 5th shot the player fires lets loose a homing projectile that does fire damage anywhere between 80-240% of the damage of the shot fired. This consistently boosts player damage and helps make any weapon loadout far more viable.

2 Bombastine's Malice

Warframe's Bombastine, as found within Duviri.

For all the sharpshooters out there, Bombastine's Malice is a great way to add more elemental damage to a loadout. With this decree, players gain a 30% chance to inflict Toxin damage to all surrounding foes when they land headshots on enemies.

This damage ramps up with how many times the decree was taken, up to 150% of the shot's damage. It also stacks, giving fully automatic weapons another great way to scale their DPS for harder Duviri challenges.

1 Between The Eyes

Warframe Between The Eyes decree in action as a Plinx shot hits an enemy's head.

Another great decree for sharpshooters, Between The Eyes is the best decree in Duviri for ranged builds. This decree rewards accuracy with the most direct upgrade to DPS there is.

With Between The Eyes, players gain a straight boost to their damage for 3 seconds upon landing a headshot. This boost is somewhere between 50-150%, depending on how many times players have stacked this decree, so it's advisable to pick this option every time it's available.

Warframe is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch.
