Warcraft Rumble’s in-game shop is called the G.R.I.D. It offers new Minis, Talents, Boosters, and Exp points in exchange for gold coins. The name “G.R.I.D.” implies how the store works: Items are placed on a 3x3 grid that moves or rotates with each purchase. This rather complex function has made beginner players wonder what items to buy first—and which to avoid.
With this quick Warcraft Rumble guide, players can capitalize on their limited money and target the shop’s most precious bids.

World of Warcraft's Warcraft Rumble Minis Explained
World of Warcraft has added some collectibles to show off its incoming Blizzard counterpart, Warcraft Rumble, launching on mobile.
What to Buy in Warcraft Rumble
The most valuable items in the G.R.I.D. store are upgraded units (uncommon, rare, epic) and Mini-specific Talents. However, players looking to spend real-life money in Warcraft Rumble will also benefit from purchasing the Arclight Booster.
Upgraded Units
Purchasing high-level Minis is an ideal way to increase the Collection Level. Getting an uncommon, rare, or epic character takes away the upgrade costs, helping players cut back on scarce items like Epic Upgrade Core.
Talents
Talents are extra powers for Minis. Buy them in the G.R.I.D. Store to maximize a deck’s influence. Note, however, that Talents unlock after acquiring at least 20 Sigils.
The Arclight Booster
Although a microtransaction item, the Arclight Booster is a lucrative purchase. It comes with 1,000 free gold and an extra 50% gold acquisition bonus, which can be a massive head-start.
When two or more valuable items are aligned on the shop’s grid, pay five gold coins to move them. Otherwise, purchasing one will cause the others to disappear.
What to Avoid in Warcraft Rumble’s Shop
The G.R.I.D. shop has some unworthy items that players are better off without purchasing. Of these, the least beneficial offers are EXP points and Arclight Energy. Both resources can be collected in sufficient amounts simply by playing the game.
Don’t Buy EXP with Gold
Instead of wasting gold on EXP, wait for the G.R.I.D. to refresh so it contains upgraded units.
Don’t Buy Tomes
Tomes are EXP boosters with unique properties. But players won’t need them as the game is generous with the experience point distribution. (Tomes are only worth the price if they come with other bundles).
Pass on Arclight Energy
Arclight Energy might help increase the unit rarity tiers. But it can be collected through completing Dungeons and Quests. So, players do not need to spend their precious gold coins on them.
Warcraft Rumble is available now for mobile devices.
