Walmart+ has some good news for Xbox gamers looking for the latest deals for Xbox Game Pass. Members of Walmart+ can receive codes for the highest tier of Microsoft's flagship gaming subscription service, Game Pass Ultimate, at no additional cost. However, there's a catch.

Walmart+ is no stranger to having cross-promotional deals with Game Pass. Just last year, Walmart was giving away codes of Game Pass Ultimate for free to everyone with an active Walmart+ membership. Game Pass members in the US, meanwhile, were treated to free 75-day memberships for Walmart+ in the past, with free trials for Paramount+ included as part of the same perk.

Xbox Game Pass Confirms 7 More Games Coming in April 2024

Microsoft pulls the curtain back on its plans for the new Xbox Game Pass games coming to the service in the first half of April 2024.

Although that Game Pass perk is no longer available, at the very least, Walmart+'s promotion from last year is finally back. All members of Walmart's shopping subscription service can now get two free months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate included with their membership. It's important to keep in mind, though, that just like last time, the codes Walmart is providing are only good for new Game Pass Ultimate members. This means that if those interested in this deal are currently subscribed to Game Pass, this offer will not be of use to them. That being said, it is possible (albeit unconfirmed) that those who let their Game Pass memberships expire might still be able to redeem the codes, so long as they don't renew their subscriptions.

Fortunately, Game Pass fans currently subbed to the service can at least wait a couple of months for their Ultimate memberships to expire in order to redeem the deal. Walmart's offer expires on July 2 and is only redeemable once per customer, so those with a Walmart+ sub who are interested in this deal should mark their calendars and make sure not to miss out on this great one-time offer. Xbox gamers who aren't subbed to Walmart+, meanwhile, can currently get a 30-day free trial for Walmart+ simply by signing up for the first time on Walmart's official website.

A Great Way to Save on Playing Current and Upcoming Game Pass Games

This deal from Walmart+ is coming just in time for Xbox fans looking to save some money by playing some upcoming games like Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, and Harold Halibut day-one on Game Pass. They will also have the chance to play recently released titles like Persona 3 Reload, MLB The Show 24, and Diablo 4 on the service instead of having to pay individually for each game. Those who take advantage of this deal will get the opportunity to play some of the best games on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for free for two months, which is an offer that will be hard to pass up for most Xbox fans.
