The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom launched to an avid audience of gamers around the world, ready to explore Hyrule once more. The game comes with a new selection of skills for Link to learn and utilize as players navigate the world and solve shrine puzzles.

One such skill, and perhaps the most beloved, is the ability to fuse items together and make any creation the game (or the player's heart) desires. The imagination and creativity of gamers is never-ending, and so it's no surprise that gamers everywhere have had a field day with this one. Here are some of the wackiest creations people have made so far in The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom.

1 Flamethrowers Where They Shouldn't Be

One innovative Zelda player took it upon themselves to make this glorious creation that so many of fans saw gracing their social feeds only days after the game launched. This even sparked controversy from one Twitter user, claiming it was hilarious but de-immersed them from the experience.

The internet argued (as it is wont to do) that there was no requirement to build a giant man with a flamethrower between his legs; players were free to ignore it if they wished. This hilarious creation is to be enjoyed for what it is: a silly, and yet impressive, innovation from the mind of a gamer.

2 Trojan Horse

Evidently just a peace offering from Link to Ganondorf, right? Creative Tears Of The Kingdom player, u/DasMatt on Reddit created a whole Trojan horse using the meld mechanic...and it looks pretty good!

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem possible to actually infiltrate Ganon's operations with this bad boy. With how many games it's been and how many times Link's impeded Ganondorf's efforts, perhaps it is time to take a page out of the Greek's books.

3 Big Wheel

Creative animator and Legend Of Zelda fan @Liz_Caingcoy on Twitter has opted for the obviously more convenient way to travel the world of Hyrule: big wheel. Forget finding a horse and befriending it, slowly building a bond traversing the world together. No, it's big wheel time.

Liz's original video shows her attempting different builds until she gets one that works. Of course, she has to quickly abandon ship after getting stuck on a tree and drawing the attention of a nearby enemy. This piece of ingenuity actually works, though, and fans get to see some fun wholesome shots of Liz rocking around on big wheel.

4 Dog-Petting Mechanism

It's become pretty important to the modern gamer that there's one consistent feature among all new releases. Is there a dog or a cat? Players everywhere want to pet it.

Unfortunately, it seems the Tears Of The Kingdom devs didn't get the memo, but that didn't stop creative Zelda fan @JonComms on Twitter from finding a way. This determined gamer fused together items to make a big hand to pet the puppy, oddly reminiscent of the auto-petter in Stardew Valley.

5 Oil Engine

Liz strikes again with this wild creation, this time creating a working oil engine in-game, based on a 3D model she had previously rendered of the same thing.

The innovation doesn't stop with this gamer, and it goes to show just how versatile players can get with what they're able to make in Tears Of The Kingdom. While Hyrule may not have even discovered oil or fuel yet, Liz has ensured they're fully equipped for the industrial era.

6 Weapon Of Mass Destruction

One Legend of Zelda player has somehow put together a weapon capable of taking down a dragon. This piece of gear combines a few materials found in game to create a flying laser cannon that fires at enemies and is even powerful enough to take down some of the biggest enemies in the game.

Perhaps this would be a useful creation to build for the final boss fight. This incredible creation just proves how creative and surprising gamers can be. Don't get on this guy's bad side!

7 A Gundam To Take On Ganon

It was only a matter of time before someone built a giant robot in Tears Of The Kingdom, and that's exactly what TikTok user @soulbanana0 did. Using the tools at their disposal and some of that classic gamer ingenuity, they were able to craft a Gundam worthy of taking on Ganondorf.

With all these inventions and innovations, it's a wonder that Ganon hasn't fled Hyrule already. The player uses the Ascend skill to get into their robot and from there...well, plenty of players have all seen the Gundam anime.

8 Robot With Giant Spinning Arms

While some of the items on this list are wacky but also kind of practical, this creation from u/Rvdyss on Reddit is just wacky for wacky's sake. This creation once again exhibits the creativity of Legend of Zelda players but in a unique way: it's just silly. Admittedly, it is satisfying to see a giant robot swing its arms about as if it were a hyperactive child who needs to exert some energy.

Fans wonder how aware the devs were of how much fun people would have with these amazing new skills. Either way, Zelda fans appreciate a game that can give players a compelling story and world to explore while also allowing gamers to be their wacky, genius selves.

The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom is available to buy and play on the Nintendo Switch.
