To get the enigmatic Mystery Cards in Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars, players will have to explore and talk to people in towns. Mystery Card 3 is located in Woodland, just after passing through the Bewildering Wood.
Here, players will have to complete some story-related activities before being able to search the right place. As such, it's actually possible to find Mystery Card 4 before Mystery Card 3, which can cause some confusion. However, fear not, as both are in Woodland. Whichever one is found first doesn't matter, so players enjoying Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars need not worry.

Ridis' House Fire
Players will have to help the archer Ridis put out the fire that is consuming her house in the northern part of Woodland. This event will be pretty hard to miss, however, is not as urgent as it may seem. Players can actually walk around town, play a hand at the game parlor, do some shopping, and more without needing to worry about Ridis' house totally burning down. This means that players can prepare, as they should, for entering the burning house will begin a boss fight.
Dealing With The Boss
The flaming wolf within the burning house will seem intimidating but is not a very tough opponent. They only possess 60 HP and the damage from their attacks can be mostly negated with a single heal cast on the injured character. If players have leveled up Melanie enough to acquire her Freeze skill, this would be a perfect time to use it.
Ice is from the water element in Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars, which fire-type monsters are weak to. The bonus damage against the boss will be handy, however, Freeze can also apply the status effect of the same name. The freeze status effect will cause the target to be unable to act for a full turn unless they are attacked. If attacked while frozen, the afflicted will take much more damage.
After The Fire
Following the defeat of the fire wolf, there will be some cutscenes revolving around the party putting out the house fire, which saves the structure from completely burning down and, more importantly, Ridis' mother who was inside. After things have settled, players can return to Ridis' house and speak to her mother, who is the one holding Mystery Card 3.

About Ridis' Mother
Ridis' mother has been fairly ill for a while, which is why she could not escape the house when it caught fire. When speaking with her and learning her sad tale, players will be prompted with a choice. After some dialogue, there will be an option to either give Ridis' mother a salve of some sort to try and help her with her sickness or do nothing.
Whether Or Not To Help Ridis' Mother
Players should give Ridis' mother a salve, as this is how one will get Mystery Card 3. Although the salve will be lost, and it will not cure Ridis' mother, doing so still matters. This act of kindness will cause Ridis' mother, who is touched by the player's considerate gesture, to hand over Mystery Card 3.
It should be noted that players can give Ridis' mother any kind of salve, many of which can be bought at the apothecary in Woodland. If players don't have one, simply buy a few at the nearest shop before speaking with Ridis' mother.
