The Doom Slayer is one of the most powerful and angry characters that gaming has to offer and that was before the power-up he got in the recent soft remaster of the Doom franchise. Doom Slayer just rips and tears through anything that's in his way, which turns the armies of hell into little playthings for him to enjoy (if he even enjoys anything).

The Doom Slayer is strong enough to take down the armies of hell seemingly with a level of ease, but just how would he fare against other villains that gaming has to offer?

10 Beat: Urizen - Devil May Cry

Urizen is, (spoilers for Devil May Cry 5) the demon half of Dante's brother Vergil after he separated both halves in order to become more powerful. In many ways, Vergil succeeded as Dante needed to get a whole new power-up in order to match Urizen. Urizen also has control of a demon tree that is actively attacking a city's inhabitants. The thing is that demon lords are nothing that Doom Slayer hasn't faced before. In fact Urizen might just be another demon in the Doom Slayers way.

9 Can't: Zeus - God Of War

The Doom Slayer has faced demons so powerful that they can be considered gods, but he has never actually faced a true god. This is where the king of Olympus, Zeus comes in. Not only is he a true god in every sense of the word, but he is also the most powerful of all the gods in the entirety of Greek Mythology. This means that he is already a formidable opponent but he is also one that the Doom Slayer can't just kill with any normal weapon, he needs the Sword of Olympus which isn't around anymore.

8 Beat: Sarah Kerrigan - Starcraft

When it comes to space bugs, Sarah Kerrigan, the leader of the Zerg swarm in Starcraft is probably the most powerful that gaming has to offer. She can psychically control all the Zerg throughout the galaxy and even if she decides to not call in her armies for help she is still a tough fight herself.

The thing is that when it comes to the Doom Slayer, the difference between armies of demons and armies of Zerg probably isn't even something that he would notice as he was tearing through the Zerg or Kerrigan herself.

7 Can't: G-Man - Half-Life

The G-Man isn't the direct antagonist that the player faces in the Half-Life series, whether it is in the main series or in the game's many spinoffs, official or unofficial. The thing is, despite his neutrality and even the help he offers to the player in his appearances, there is always something mischievous and suspicious about this seemingly omnipresent character. There is also no way to strike the G-Man physically so the Doom Slayer might not be able to rip and tear through him or it.

6 Beat: Sahelanthropus - Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

Sahelanthropus is the most dangerous metal gear in the entire Metal Gear series, which really doesn't make sense considering how in the chronological timeline of the series, it is one of the earliest models.

This monster has multiple weapons and if need be can be backed up by Foxhounds various zombie soldiers. The thing is that at the end of the day Sahelanthropus was taken out by an ordinary man and the Doom Slayer is anything but an ordinary man.

5 Can't: Alduin - Skyrim

Alduin is the eater of worlds and the leader of the dragons in Skyrim. His ultimate goal is to destroy the world, for more or less no real reason other than it is his destiny. He also wants to make the afterlife a torturous experience for anyone that would enter it.  It may seem like the Doom Slayer would have his way with Alduin, and he probably would, but the thing is that the Doom Slayer isn't a Dragonborn, at least as far as we know, and therefore he can't fully destroy Alduin.

4 Beat: The Didact - Halo

The Didact was introduced to the Halo series in the franchise come back in Halo 4 and was considered by most to be a fairly underwhelming villain. He wants to destroy humanity because they won't bow to him and he thinks that they are inferior. He also has the combined power of the remains of the Covenant and the Prometheans at his disposal. Once again this army probably won't make the Doom Slayer flinch and as for the actual Didact himself, he'd probably just one punch him.

3 Can't:  The Reapers - Mass Effect

The Reapers are the faction in Mass Effect that wants to destroy all of humanity and reset the universe like they've done a thousand times before. The Reapers have multiple different weapons at their disposal, whether it is the races that worship and obey them, their own weaponry, or the ability to turn humans into zombies. While the Doom Slayer has taken on countless armies before, they are nowhere near as numerous or generally intelligent as the Reapers, who have destroyed the universe hundreds of times.

2 Beat: Sephiroth - Final Fantasy

Sepiroth is the main antagonist of Final FantasyVII, as well as being a villain in the Kingdom Hearts series. Sephiroth is the child of an alien who is maybe also an angel and that makes him one of the more powerful enemies in the series. He is also an accomplished swordsman with arguably the longest sword in gaming history. Sephiroth is able to fly with only one wing and has a massive god complex, but the Doom Slayer has taken down false idols before.

1 Can't: Superman - Injustice

Superman is one of the most powerful characters in all of fiction, so it's a good thing that he is usually a good guy with unshakeable ideals. This is usually not the case with video games however as in the upcoming Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League and in the Injustice fighting game series, he is turned evil. Injustice Superman is the tyrannical ruler of the earth who violently crushes any who may oppose him and with all of his power, he is just too much even for the Doom Slayer.
