Sammy is a character in Vampire Survivors' Tides of the Foscari DLC that is unlocked by defeating a total of 6,000 Sammies. While this may seem like a monumental undertaking upon first glance, these enemies can be found in very large quantities in one spot on the Lake Foscari map. This guide is here to point players toward that spot, and it will help them unlock Vampire Survivors' Sammy in just one or two runs.
Vampire Survivors: Sammies Location
Players that are on the hunt for Sammies should set their sights on the northeast quadrant of Lake Foscari. More specifically, there is a small alcove amidst the trees in this area, and standing within it will cause an endless supply of Sammies to appear. This location has been marked on the following map, and the accompanying image showcases the precise position in which players should stand.
To note, Vampire Survivors players will need to pass through a short maze in the forest in order to reach the Sammies spot. Fans can find the entrance to this maze slightly northeast of their starting position, and here are the steps that they should take upon arrival:
- Enter and follow the path to the right.
- Take the second upward path and follow it all the way to the top.
- Go left and take the first downward path.
- Follow the path to the maze's exit.
For those players that would like to know more about the Vampire Survivors character that they will unlock upon defeating a total of 6,000 Sammies, Sammy is a unique character that gains XP when picking up Gold Coins and Coin Bags. This synergizes quite nicely with the character's starting weapon, the Vicious Hunger, which will occasionally turn enemies and items into gold.
It is also worth mentioning that Sammy starts with a temporary reduction to Might. This means that the character will be dealing reduced damage with all of its weapons in the early stages of a run, making it harder to get things off the ground. That said, players that have invested in a reasonable number of Power Ups in Vampire Survivors should definitely be able to overcome this obstacle and reach the 30-minute mark.
Sammy is certainly not the only character in Vampire Survivors' Tides of the Foscari DLC, and fans will obtain at least three of the other unlockables without much trouble. There are some DLC characters with rather complex unlock requirements, though, and players that want to earn all of them will need to be quite thorough in their explorations of Lake Foscari.
