In the rogue-light Vampire Survivors, players will need to collect items, level them up, and battle a whole slew of enemies to keep surviving. Players can collect different weapons, Arcana, gold, and more on their journey to survive for as long as possible.
One of the items that may be massively helpful is an item that can only be found in the Bone Zone, a challenge level that players will have to unlock. This item, called the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane, is a relic that unlocks a secret menu and allows players to cast Spells.
How to Unlock the Bone Zone
In order to even think of getting the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane, Vampire Suvivors players will first need to unlock the Bone Zone itself. There are several ways to do this, and each of them require players to kill a boss enemy that appears at 25 minutes into a stage.
- Mad Forest: Kill the Giant Blue Venus.
- Inlaid Library: Kill the Nesuferit.
- Dairy Plant: Kill the Sword Guardian.
- Gallo Tower: Kill to Giant Enemy Crab.
Once the Bone Zone is unlocked, players can then start to work toward getting the relic.
Finding the Sketamari in the Bone Zone of Vampire Survivors
Once in the Bone Zone, players will notice a question mark appear somewhere on the Milky Way Map. This question mark marks the location of the Sketamari; the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane are only dropped from this particularly scary enemy. This massive circle of bones rolls back and forth along a horizontal line, Katamari-ing other enemies in its wake, picking up more speed, more girth, more power, and more health as it goes along. This enemy spawns every time players enter the Bone Zone, but it will only drop the Scrolls the first time it is killed.
The Sketamari also:
- is immune to Freeze.
- is immune to insta-kill weapons.
- is immune to all debuffs.
How to Kill the Sketamari
Now that players have found the Sketamari, they will need to be able to kill it. There are several ways to do this, but an easy way to down this massive ball is to use Red Death. Players will want to collect both Spinach and Tome upgrades while in the Bone Zone, then travel down to meet this massive enemy when they have enough buffs. Some other things that may help to kill the Sketamari are:
- Using the Mind Bender with Hyper Mode off.
- Hang out away from the Sketamari to collect more upgrades for a few minutes before heading down to it.
- Get the Wand as well as Spinach and Tome.
- Still having trouble? Grab a Silent Old Sanctuary Arcana as well.
- Walk in circle around the ball while staying out of its reach.
