The Valheim mods just keep on coming. Valheim is one of the biggest games in the world, as the Viking survival RPG topped the Steam charts for two months in a row and fans from all over cannot seem to get enough of the action. Part of the fun comes from the community itself, and a recent mod adds over-the-top Spartan-like kicking to the title.

The modding community seems to have endless creativity, as recently a Valheim modder added an HD texture pack to the game that enhanced over 255 items, for example. This most recent mod is quite different. Instead of making the game look better, the mod imbues the player's foot with the "power of a true warrior."

The Give 'Em The Boot mod for Valheim was created by modder KodaichiZero. Once downloaded, players can pull off the kick by clicking on the middle mouse button (by default). Lighter enemies will go flying diagonally backward and upwards and the move does some powerful damage. Specifically, as an unarmed skill, it does an extra 50 force at level 100, with leg armor to does up to 50 extra force with iron boots, and a bonus 25 force if the enemy is staggered while being kicked. Text such as "bye, "yeet," and GETB" also appear when kicking.

Valheim's popularity is undeniable. The game is atop the sales charts, constantly being watched on streaming platforms such as Twitch, and mods like this keep the game fresh and exciting. It truly is interesting to see a game like Valheim succeed from being almost unknown to now one of the most popular within the gaming community.

Valheim is available now in Early Access on PC.
