When it comes to hunting in the wild and open Norse-themed world of Valheim, bows make for the best companions. There are 4 kinds that can be crafted in this beautiful survival game overflowing with mythology and pleasant vibes.

Each not only has different crafting components and recipes but also different Quality tiers, going up to Tier 4. Obviously, players will want the best possible bow, though, this requires one to upgrade the Workbench and Forge enough to unlock the better bow variants and their tiers.

There is a clearly intended progression when it comes to which bows one should be wielding and when in the game players will have access to them, so be sure to work one's way up to the strongest example of ranged weaponry instead of trying to grab it from the start, as life in Valheim is about the journey, not the destination.
