Stone Bricks and Stone Dust are crafting reagents in V Rising, and they are inextricably linked. Indeed, it is impossible to make one of these components without making the other, and the entire creation process centers around an important workstation known as the Grinder. For those players that may be unclear about how all of this works, full details on how to get Stone Bricks and Stone Dust in V Rising can be found in what follows.

V Rising: How to Get Stone Bricks and Stone Dust

As previously indicated, players that are trying to obtain Stone Bricks and Stone Dust in V Rising will need to have access to a Grinder. This workstation is constructed from eight Boards, four Copper Ingots, and four Whetstones, and it can be built near a Castle Heart. These material requirements may seem a bit confusing upon first glance, though, as survival game fans cannot craft the Whetstones that are need to create a Grinder without already having some Stone Dust in-hand.

Fortunately, there is another approach to obtaining Whetstones in V Rising that does not require players to already have a Grinder. Specifically, fans can loot these reagents from the Bandit Strongholds that appear in the Farbane Woods. Locating such a stronghold is as simple as hovering the mouse over the various yellow areas on the in-game map, and Whetstones will be listed among the location's important loot when it is indeed available.

After obtaining the requisite Whetstones and constructing a Grinder in their castles, players are all set to start making Stone Bricks and Stone Dust. To do this, fans should simply insert Raw Stones into the workstation, and they will receive one Stone Brick and one Stone Dust for every Raw Stone that is processed in this way. This conversion rate means that players will need to break many rocks if they hope to create a stockpile of these valuable materials in V Rising.

Once a crafting video game fan has amassed some Stone Bricks, they can then start erecting Reinforced Walls at their castle. Notably, surrounding pieces of flooring with these types of walls will cause a roof to appear, allowing players to progress past the Build a Castle quest and unlock the Stone Coffin blueprint. The Stone Coffin can then be placed atop a stone floor, and the game's next quest will instruct fans to bind their characters to one of these caskets.

V Rising is in early access on PC.
