Even as an Early Access game, the MMORPG title V Rising has proven to be a hit with PC players. Flipping the script on traditional isometric style RPG games, players awaken as a vampire, weakened after sleeping for centuries and requiring blood to regain strength and power. In addition to taking on quests, finding loot, and battling enemies, V Rising players can rebuild their castle to form the foundation of a new empire.

In order to establish this new base of operations, players in V Rising require resources including things like iron which can be found by exploring the large open world, as well as taking down bosses. It's through these gameplay moments that players are unable to learn new skills as well as unlock important techniques like recipes and structures to further expand out their castle.

However, not every V Rising boss is as straightforward as finding them and taking them out. One in particular, Beatrice the Tailor, seems to be more interested in self-preservation not only by being difficult to find, but also actually fighting as well. Here is everything that V Rising players need to know.

Where to Find Beatrice the Tailor

Before taking on Beatrice, players will want to be around level 38 as she resides in a higher level area which will make quick work of newer players. With the Blood Altar unlocked, players can track her blood, ultimately leading them to Dawnbreak VIllage in the southeastern section of the Dunley Farmlands. This village in V Rising is also a resource heavy location for things like quartz, cloth, and wool. She can be found wandering the village, not confined to one spot in particular. While players may not think much of this old lady, the real danger is the fact that she has plenty of help to call upon.

Combat Tips

Unlike most other boss fights, Beatrice would prefer not to fight, opting to run away from the player instead of taking them on directly. With the amount of enemy mobs patrolling the streets of Dawnbreak and the fact that she can summon more simply by screaming for help, players may find themselves quickly outnumbered and overwhelmed.

For solo players, they'll likely want to focus on clearing as much of the village as possible before directly engaging with Beatrice as this will lessen the amount of enemies that may swarm. In addition, players should ideally have their third layer of armor for better defensive protection as well as some escape and defensive spells just in case. Continue rushing Beatrice as much as possible, preventing her from getting too far away and only stopping to clear mobs as necessary. Eventually, she'll go down.

Rewards

For taking down Beatrice, players will be unlocking a handful of items. Three new recipes will become available including ones for a Cotton Yarn, Cloth, as well as a Hunter's Cloak. Players can also creature two additional structures in the form of a Loom to create Cotton Yarn, as well as an Assortment of Curtains for decorating the castle.

Finally, players will unlock a new Vampire Power called Human Form. With this ability, players can shape-shift into a human which allows them to trade with merchants, sneak into human settlements, and basically anything that vampires wouldn't have access to.
