There are two ways that fans can go about earning this material, and both of them center around the Blood Press workbench. V Rising: How to Get Greater Blood Essence
As previously noted, players that are looking to get their hands on some Greater Blood Essence will need to have access to a Blood Press. This workbench can be built near a Castle Heart by combining 12 Planks and 120 Stones, and survival game fans should prioritize getting one established as soon as possible. Indeed, the Blood Press is not only useful for creating Greater Blood Essence, and there is incentive to get familiarized with all of its functionality sooner rather than later.
Immediately upon placing a Blood Press, players can use the workbench to transmute four Unsullied Hearts into a Greater Blood Essence. That is easier said than done, though, as these hearts seem to have an extremely-low drop rate and are not easily farmable. Even still, it is recommended that vampire video game fans that are attempting to farm for Unsullied Hearts focus on dispatching the bosses that are tracked through the Blood Altar, though they can also drop from random creatures throughout the world.
The other option for creating Greater Blood Essence becomes available after dispatching Tristan the Vampire Hunter, a Level 46 boss that players can find on the Blood Altar. This option appears at the Blood Press once it is unlocked, and it allows fans to transmute 200 Blood Essence into a single Greater Blood Essence. While it is true that 200 is not a particularly small quantity of this V Rising material, players may still prefer this approach to the alternative.
To note, the Blood Press can also provide a bit of assistance with this second option, as it can be used to generate additional Blood Essence. More specifically, players can turn four Rats into 10 Blood Essence or four Tainted Hearts into 60 Blood Essence though this workbench in V Rising. These transmutations can be very helpful when working toward the 200 Blood Essence that are needed to create Greater Blood Essence, and fans are sure to appreciate this functionality.
