As one of the newest sandbox survival games, V Rising has gained a decent following for its unique twist on the genre. Gamers control newly awakened Vampires who need to scavenge for different V Rising resources to get stronger and better survive the enemies prowling under the cruel morning sun.

One of the best ways to get stronger in the game is by defeating the multitude of V Rising bosses in the open world. These will drop blueprints for new weapons and abilities that gamers can replicate and use. One boss, Grayson the Armourer, offers players a handy defense buff ability and important weapon crafting recipes.

This fight can be tricky for players caught off guard by his fighting style. Not only that, but players will also need to watch out for Grayson's minions. So for V Rising fans needing help against this intimidating boss fight, here is how to find and beat Grayson the Armourer.

Grayson the Armourer Location

V Rising Grayson The Armorer Location

Grayson The Armourer is located at the Bandit Armory towards the western portion of the Farbane Woods area. Grayson will be in a small enclosed wooden worksite east of the small body of water marked with two torches at the front gate in the southern portion of the Bandit Armory.

How to Beat Grayson

Grayson is level 27 and uses a mix of long-range, short-range, and spike traps to attack players. The caltrops are gamers' biggest problem. If they step on them or get knocked into them, they will deal much additional damage. On top of that, Grayson throws a ton of them all around the area, giving players barely any options for mobility.

A good V Rising tip for countering the spike traps is to hang around the four sets of armor scattered in the corners of the arena. When the armor is on, they give players a couple of seconds of invulnerability. So when Grayson throws too many traps, throw on some armor and walk over as many spikes as possible.

This will allow gamers to clear the battlefield without getting hurt. Aside from caltrops, players should watch for Grayson's ax throw attack, which throws three miniature axes in a spread formation from him. Grayson also has a hammer whirlwind attack if he can close in on gamers. Bringing a crossbow or some other long-range weapon is recommended in this fight since the ax throw is much easier to avoid.

Once Grayson is defeated, fans will be rewarded with the Crimson Aegis power. Crimson Aegis allows players to apply a shield to themselves or an ally that protects them from 200% of the caster's spell power. On top of that, gamers will receive new workshop floors, statues, and whetstone recipes.
