The launch of V Rising came with another reshuffle of the world map. It's significantly larger than it was during the game's early access period, and getting around can be a bit more tedious if players aren't actively using the Vampire Waygates all over Vardoran.

Now that V Rising is bigger than it used to be, Vampire Waygates are now much more valuable. Knowing where these handy platforms are can significantly cut down the travel time between points of interest and player bases. Though players can always make teleporters of their own inside the safety of their castles, knowing all the natural Waygate spawns will help increase map-wide mobility. Here are all the Waygates in the game so far.

Updated June 12, 2024 by Marc Santos: V Rising 1.0 came with an expanded map. Apart from the new Ruins of Mortium region, players can now find new minor POIs across all the other regions. The locations of the Waygates have remained mostly the same despite the map's transformation, so players who have played V Rising's early access version should still find the teleporters in the same general locations as before. This guide has been updated to include updated maps as well as the Hallowed Mountains and Ruins of Mortium regions.

Farbane Woods Waygate Locations

Farbane Woods Waygates in V Rising 1.0

Previously, the Farbane Woods had only four Waygates. In the launch version of V Rising, this has been increased to six. The region itself also got expanded — the V Blood boss locations here remain the same, but more POIs have been sprinkled in between boss arenas.

Players can still expect to see Waygates on each corner of the region's outer edges. As for the two new Waygates, both are found near the center of the Farbane Woods. The center-west one is close to the Bandit Armory and Bandit Copper Mine, while the center-north Waygate is near the Bandit Stronghold and Forgotten Cemetery.

Dunley Farmlands Waygate Locations

Dunley Farmlands Waygate Locations in V Rising 1.0

Like the previous region, there are four Waygates in the Dunley Farmlands: two on the west, and the rest on the east. The southernmost ones overlook the entryways leading to this region, while the others act as central points for each half of the map. If you want to find tons of quartz in V Rising, go to the waygates near the Dunley Monastery and Dawnbreak Village.

The Western Dunley Waygate is directly behind the Dunley Monastery, where players can find Raziel the Shepherd. It is also directly south of Bedrock Pass where Terah the Geomancer resides.

To the east, players can find the Waygate between the Bastion of Dunley and Dawnbreak Village. Militia captain Octavian commands his forces in the fortress north of the Waygate, while Beatrice the Tailor can be found minding her own business in the village to the south.

Gloomrot Waygate Locations

All Waygates in Gloomrot in V Rising 1.0

Gloomrot has three Vampire Waygates. One connects stormy Northern Gloomrot to the Sliverlight Hills. Another watches over the border of the Farmlands and Southern Gloomrot's toxic cesspools. The last oversees the Transcendum Power Plant and Thunderstrike Peak far to the north.

Considering how dangerous enemies are in Gloomrot (especially up in the north), players should consider occupying one of the central territories in either region just so they can have a place to fall back to. The areas near the Transcendum Machine Factory are especially valuable, since they are close to a Cave that leads back to the Farbane Woods.

Silverlight Hills Waygate Location

The Waygate in Silverlight Hills in V Rising 1.0

Unfortunately, Silverlight Hills only has one Vampire Waygate. It is located north near the Harpy Nest and the Army Camp that watches the border leading to Northern Gloomrot.

Mobility in Silverlight Hills is generally harder than in the rest of the regions. Riflemen can knock vampires out of their horses and shapeshifted forms, and there are plenty of them patrolling the roads. It is best to establish a base somewhere in the middle of map or, at the very least, close to the Blessed Silver Mine to make the processing of Silver Ore less risky.

Cursed Forest Waygate Locations

Cursed Forest Waygates in V Rising 1.0

The Cursed Forest features one waygate in the southwest and another to the far east. The one at the eastern end is next to the Ancient Village, where Foulrot the Soultaker can be found.

Players need to defeat Ben the Old Wanderer first before they can explore the Cursed Forest. He will unlock the recipe for the Shroud of the Forest cloak, which will prevent players from getting lost in the mist.

Hallowed Mountains Waygate

The Hallowed Mountain Waygate in V Rising 1.0

Much like Silverlight Hills, the Hallowed Mountains has only one Waygate. Fortunately, this area is very small, and players should have no trouble exploring it. For faster traversal, use Wolf form or grab one of V Rising's vampire horses.

Ruins of Mortium Waygates

Dracula's domain has three usable Waygates. There's one at the northwestern and southwestern entrances to the Ruins of Mortium, and another is right outside Dracula's castle. If you're playing on a PvP server, you'll want to be very careful when teleporting to any of these Waygates. There are no dedicated building zones in the Ruins of Mortium, which means Waygate traffic in the region is going to be higher than usual, especially since all the Waygates are close to Rift Incursion zones.
