Naughty Dog's Uncharted games aren't really known for their long stories, nor do they typically contain a lot of additional content for players to sink their teeth into after finishing the main story. As a result, all four of the series' mainline installments can be completed in less time than is required for a typical JRPG, and the Nathan Drake-less standalone expansion, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, continues this tradition.

With the release of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection now looming large on the horizon, Uncharted games will soon be available to non-PlayStation players for the first time after almost a decade and a half of exclusivity. Ahead of the collection's release, plenty of potential new players will be keen to find out how long Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Uncharted 4 are. Sadly, however, in the case of the former, at least, the answer may well prove disappointing.

How Long Does it Take to Complete Uncharted: The Lost Legacy?

According to average times taken from HowLongToBeat, the main story of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy takes around seven hours to complete. If players rush, this time can be brought down to around five and a half hours, while a more leisurely playthrough typically clocks in at around double that. Those who plan to track down all of the collectibles and unlock every trophy/achievement can expect to get around 16½ hours out of the game, which may be a bit more palatable for those considering whether or not to pick the collection up.

Of course, Uncharted 4 is generally considered to be the better of the two games included in the Legacy of Thieves collection and it just so happens to be the longer of the two titles as well. The main story in Uncharted 4 lasts around 15 hours, while a completionist run will take nearly twice that amount. When combined, potential players can therefore expect around 22 hours of story and 45 hours of total content spread across the two games. With pre-orders priced at $49.99, that works out at just shy of one hour for every dollar spent.

Are There Any Missable Trophies / Achievements in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy?

The original release of Lost Legacy features 50 trophies, and earlier reports suggest that the remastered version included in the Legacy of Thieves collection will be no different in this regard. Assuming this does end up being the case, there will once again be one missable trophy/achievement in the game. It's called "The Way of the Warrior" and will require players to reach a certain point in Chapter 5 without using any firearms or explosives.

Players will probably want to unlock this one during a second or partial playthrough, however, as it can be pretty tricky to pull off while also playing the game in the Crushing difficulty mode; a requirement for those hoping to unlock the "Progress Demands Sacrifice" trophy/achievement. Thanks to how short the game is, players can reach Chapter 5 in a little over an hour if they know what they're doing, so it's not actually as much of a chore as it might otherwise first appear anyway.
