Recently, Sony started releasing many of its exclusive titles for PC in an attempt to bring more players onboard with its franchises. Following the release of Horizon Zero Dawn and Marvel's Spider-Man, The Uncharted franchise has finally made its debut onto PC, with Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection. Uncharted is one of the most influential and successful franchises under Sony's belt and so players are very excited to be able to play these titles on their PCs. Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection bundle includes Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: Lost Legacy. Developed by Naughty Dog, The Uncharted series is one fans can never get enough of.

So far, every Uncharted title has met an exceptional reception, including Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection which features the first three games in the series. But is the latest collection in the Uncharted series worth it? Does it truly deliver on the next generation front? Or is it just a rehash of old games with minor tweaks and tricks added on top?

6 Its Price

Nathan Drake

Uncharted: The Legacy of Thieves Collection has a retail price of $49.99 on both Steam and The Epic Game Store. This price holds for all digital and physical versions of the game. Considering that this collection is an enhanced version of not one, but two games, makes $49.99 a decent price tag.

However, it would have made it even more worthwhile if this bundle also included the first three titles of Nathan Drake’s adventures. Though players do not necessarily need to have played these games for them to enjoy Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: Lost Legacy, it still would have given them an enhanced experience.

5 System Requirements

Visuals From Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection

Though Sony has been launching many of its exclusive titles on the PC, most games have had a rough release. Players have been having a hard time adjusting their PCs to the requirements of these games. Thankfully, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection does not require any major overhauls to be made to PCs and can even run smoothly on mid-tier PCs.

The minimum requirements to run the game on a PC include an Intel i5-4330 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processor , 8 GB RAM and a NVIDIA GTX 960 (4 GB) or AMD R9 290X (4 GB) graphic card. The available storage space should be 126 GB. The recommended settings however, include an Intel i7-4770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X processor, with 16 GB RAM and either a NVIDIA GTX 1060 (6 GB) or an AMD RX 570 (4 GB) graphic card.

4 Gameplay And Frame Rate

30 FPS Gameplay In Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection

Uncharted 4 was already an astounding game in terms of graphical representation. With this collection however, both Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: Lost Legacy have received major graphical upgrades truly worthy of the next generation systems.

At recommended settings, both games run smoothly at 1080p (which is the highest graphical setting available) and with well over 60 frames per second. Moreover, Uncharted 4 can even play at around a 100 frames per second. Players can also lock the frame rate at 30 frames per second for both games. While the graphical options are limited in these games, they do suffice the needs of most players.

3 Guns And Aims

Uncharted 4 Gameplay

Though a fun ride filled with thrilling action sequences, the Uncharted series hasn’t always been great at providing the best shooting experience. Sadly, the same problems from the previous versions of the games carry over to the Legacy of Thieves Collection when it comes to guns.

The aiming in these games is still lacking and majority of the guns do not feel realistic to play with. Even with a mouse and a keyboard, players can find it hard to aim accurately in these games. Only scoped guns seem to provide an accurate aiming experience.

2 No Multiplayer

Multiplayer From Uncharted 4

The Uncharted series introduced the multiplayer option with Uncharted 3 and it was quite popular at the time. The feature was added onto Uncharted 4 with an update as well, but did not fair well against other multiplayer titles like Overwatch. Players might be disappointed to know however, that the multiplayer feature will not be returning with the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, despite its merit.

This does make sense, however, since there many better multiplayer options available in the market right now. However, if Naughty Dog do end up continuing the franchise with more Uncharted series, players would love to see how the multiplayer would play on the new systems available.
