It seems that the only time that The Seven have ever worked together as a team is when it is scripted for the cameras, and many of TheBoys fans have little faith in their teamwork abilities. If half the members don't end up deferring to the other side to work against Homelander, it would be a miracle. But let's say The Seven portray a united front, for arguments' sake, and they find themselves up against the Hargreeves from The Umbrella Academy in an epic battle of Supes vs siblings.

Details from The Umbrella Academy Season 3 and The Boys Season 3 are discussed in this article

For a cohesive argument, this comparison will be made between The Seven up until Season 3 episode 3 of The Boys, and the original The Umbrella Academy siblings from Season 3 (before the Universe reset). The Sparrow's Ben will be borrowed to stand in for his deceased doppelganger to complete the set of seven siblings. Each team will be divided into their role or ability and pitted up against one another to sufficiently determine who would win in a fight between these superhuman characters. And fight!

8 Five vs A-Train: Movement/Speed

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 vs The Boys' The Seven Season 3 A-Train and Five

When it comes to traveling over vast areas at the speed of light, then these guys have it covered (supposedly). Five may not be physically running but he sure is a fast little guy who regularly uses his intense movement speed to distract and confuse his enemies. If things don't go according to plan, he can always attempt to reverse time by a few moments and take another crack at it. If Five's advanced intellect isn't advantageous enough, he has proven himself sufficiently capable in hand-to-hand combat, proficient enough to single-handedly eliminate an entire boardroom full of people.

It seems that speed is all A-Train has in his arsenal, and even then it's not exactly reliable. Having overcome a severe addiction to Compound V, A-Train has caused some long-term damage to his heart, and can no longer fulfill the speed demon role. Regardless, even if The Boys Season 1's A-Train were to battle Five, he would need to catch the guy first; a seemingly impossible feat to begin with, even with the Supe's advanced reflexes. At the end of the day, it seems more likely that Five would dominate this match-up, considering that A-Train has not shown to possess any combat skills other than speed. Five would not necessarily be able to kill his opponent (with his advanced durability and healing) but he will most likely give A-Train (ahem...) a run for his money.

7 Alison vs Starlight: America's Sweethearts

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 vs The Boys' The Seven Season 3 Allison and Starlight

These ladies are both highly celebrated by American society, however, this is not a popularity contest. When considering their personalities, Allison and Starlight would both probably attempt to talk things out before resorting to violence, which is exactly when Annie January will lose her advantage. If unaware of each others' powers, Allison's best bet would be to get the first word in and it would be interesting to see if this Umbrella's head-popping capabilities are as effective on Supes as Victoria Neuman's.

While Allison has shown herself to be proficient at martial arts, if it does come to blows, Starlight undoubtedly has the upper hand with her experience in taekwondo, boxing, and kickboxing, not to mention her superhuman strength, durability, and energy manipulation. Annie is a smart cookie and will presumably realize that Allison's power is in her voice, and use her light attacks to knock her opponent unconscious. Essentially, the deciding factor of this battle is likely to be whoever gets the first shot in.

6 Klaus vs Homelander: Insane and Invincible

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 vs The Boys' The Seven Season 3 Klaus and Homelander

Thanks to Reggie's intervention, Klaus does not stay dead for very long and will surely surprise Homelander when his corpse is reanimated. One could argue that Homelander could use his Heat Vision to turn his opponent's body into a charred carcass or slice it into smithereens, and Klaus would potentially have no body to return to, subsequently ending the fight. However, in Season 3 episode 10 of The Umbrella Academy, Klaus' body completely evaporates when the Kugelblitz makes contact, and yet he could still rematerialize within Oblivion, rendering that argument moot.

Klaus could possibly call upon an army of ghosts to incapacitate Homelander and if he knows anything about the disturbed Supe, he could specifically summon a troop of his opponent's own 'ghosts', such as Becca Butcher or Madelyn Stillwell, to taunt him. Homelander has proven to be unstable and is easily overwhelmed by emotions, particularly when his pride is at risk, and if Homelander cannot find a way to ensure that Klaus stays dead, he might just end up losing this one.

5 Luther vs Maeve: Superhuman Durability

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 vs The Boys' The Seven Season 3 Luther and Queen Maeve

Neither Queen Maeve nor Luther hide behind any fancy, flashy tricks and only rely on their brute strength and endurance to get the job done. Undeniably an interesting coupling, Luther and Maeve would thrill the masses with their advanced combat skills, matching each other blow for blow in a skirmish that would assumably last quite some time.

In all probability, Queen Maeve's strength supersedes that of Marcus from The Sparrows (who put Luther in his place), which, combined with her strategic mind, doesn't give the #1 Umbrella much of a chance. Even if these two could withstand each other's assaults at an equal level, Maeve still has the advantage of super healing and incredible speed, resulting in a greater capacity to succeed. Luther would put up a good fight, but it is unlikely that his strength is sufficient to take down a Supe strong enough to overpower Black Noir.

4 Diego vs Black Noir: Combat Experts

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 vs The Boys' The Seven Season 3 Black Noir and Diego

This combination will arguably produce the most entertaining battle if Homelander or Soldier Boy don't finish off Black Noir first, that is. These ninja assassins are the most skilled combatants of each team, both possessing a passion for knives and a high pain tolerance. Diego possibly has the advantage considering he can manipulate the trajectory of his blades, but he also has all that superhuman durability and healing to contend with.

If Diego had a better head on his shoulders (and some intel to work with) he could follow in Queen Maeve's footsteps and use Black Noir's severe nut allergy against him. After fighting Alphonso, however, it is evident that Diego wouldn't think that far ahead. The fact that Black Noir is powerful enough to intimidate other Supes is testimony to his capabilities, and sadly, after putting up a phenomenal fight, Diego will likely have to throw in the towel for this one.

3 Viktor vs Supersonic: Sound Specialists

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 vs The Boys' The Seven Season 3 Viktor and Supersonic

This match-up is terribly unbalanced, but by both utilizing sound-orientated superpowers, it is unavoidable. Supersonic may be more powerful than the average human, but his Sonic Clap (and the only real weapon at his disposal) would be easily absorbed by Viktor. It is unclear as to whether Alex possesses superhuman durability or healing like many other Supes, but Viktor's insane capabilities would doubtlessly obliterate Supersonic from existence in much the same way Homelander did.

In reality, however, both Viktor and Alex do not seem to possess a mean bone in their bodies, and would in all probability try and sort things out verbally. Unless they find the other to be completely irrational, these two are more likely to walk away from this encounter as new allies, ready to take on the real bad guys together!

2 Ben and The Deep: That's Just Hilarious!

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 vs The Boys' The Seven Season 3 Ben and The Deep

Okay, so stating that Ben and The Deep have similar powers may not be accurate, but after The Boys Herogasm episode, who could watch this fight with a straight face? Ben would only need to give a seductive suckle of his tentacle to incapacitate The Deep, and then, well, it would be completely up to The Sparrow where he wants to go from there (wink, wink!)

It is unlikely that The Deep would have any control or connection with Ben's Kraken-like tentacles because they are of Eldritch origin, not aquatic. Like the other Hargreeeves, Ben has shown to be a skilled fighter, having been trained in martial arts by Pogo for most of his life. The Deep, on the other hand, technically possesses superhuman strength and durability but has shown practically no combat skills and clearly doesn't have a head for tactics. Ben would have no trouble landing an abdominal punch, incapacitating The Deep where it hurts the most.

1 The Umbrellas vs The Seven: Teamwork

Season 3 The Umbrella Academy vs Season 3 The Boys' The Seven

In a group fight between The Hargreeves and The Seven, Viktor's quick-acting energy shield should probably protect the Umbrellas from Homelander's, Starlight's, and Supersonic's blasts, and if Allison has anything to say about it, the Supe's would all be rendered powerless, or worse. Five, Ben, Luther, and Diego could do some considerable damage on their own, but it is unlikely to be severe enough to supersede The Seven's healing capabilities. The Deep and A-Train would be pretty much useless, although the same might be said for Klaus unless he is courageous enough to stand his ground and summon a ghost army. Starlight could perhaps blind Viktor, rendering him useless, but the #7 Umbrella's ability to manipulate energy stems further than sound and would therefore be able to redirect the intense light, avoiding harm in the process.

The Umbrella's best shot is with Viktor, who is probably the perfect weapon that Billy Butcher and the Boys have been looking for to take out Homelander, who has a particular weakness for sound. If Homelander is destroyed, the rest of the Seven would be easy pickings, especially if the White Violin goes all God-mode on them. Anyway, if anything goes awry, Five could always skip back in time a few minutes (hopefully) to give The Umbrella Academy another shot at defeating their foes. The Hargreeves siblings are overall better trained in combat and teamwork; it would by no means be an easy win, but the Umbrellas have a better shot than most. However, if they don't strike first and with no hesitation, their human forms are unlikely to hold up against the Supes' potent assaults.
