UFC 5 was recently announced by EA, marking the end of a three-year wait since the last installment to the fighting franchise. A full reveal for UFC 5 is expected to come in September, although a relatively small amount of information is currently available for fans.

Despite this, there are a number of inferences that can already be made regarding UFC 5. For example, the MMA release will likely boast a number of interesting playable characters, and YouTube star Logan Paul has a high likelihood of appearing in the game.

Logan Paul's Fighting Career

Despite attributing a lot of his global fame to his meteoric rise on the YouTube platform, Logan Paul has since gone on to increase his notoriety through a number of other ventures. It is no secret that Paul has an athletic streak, finding success at a young age in wrestling and recently becoming one of the leading names of the influencer boxing scene.

Logan's two high-profile boxing matches against popular UK YouTuber KSI were some of the biggest pay-per-view events that the industry has seen. With the star even going on to fight boxing world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr in an exhibition match in June 2021, Logan Paul's presence within the world of combat sports is a rapidly growing one.

Paul's most recent combat sports venture has seen him become a leading name within the popular world of WWE. Logan Paul has fought in several high-profile WWE events such as this year's Royal Rumble, seriously impressing fans and cementing him as one of the most popular figures on the WWE roster. The star has already appeared as a playable character within the recent WWE 2K22, meaning a potential appearance in the upcoming UFC 5 is not far-fetched whatsoever.

Logan Paul's Prime and a UFC 5 Appearance

Outside of combat sport, Logan Paul's sport hydration company, Prime has become another huge part of the YouTuber's success. Launching the sport drink alongside former foe KSI in 2022, Prime has taken the world by storm, with its popularity being evidenced by the high-profile sponsorship deals that Prime is already involved in.

Prime is already the official hydration partners of massive soccer clubs such as Arsenal and even Barcelona, with the drink quickly moving beyond its early connotations as a YouTuber venture to become a respected and competitive company. Most notably, Prime recently became the official sports drink of the UFC, with Logan Paul acting as the leading figure behind this particular sponsorship.

This comes close to the news that the UFC and WWE will be merging to form a new company in the near future, re-writing the current face of the combat sport industry. With Logan Paul already having significant ties to both WWE and the UFC, the merging of these two entities is a move that works perfectly in the YouTuber's favor.

Considering Logan Paul's nature as a WWE fighter, and given his business links to the UFC, an in-game appearance from the star within the upcoming UFC 5 seems almost inevitable. As the two companies merge and Paul becomes even more established within the world of fighting, it seems like a no-brainer that EA would decide to heavily feature Paul in its upcoming title. Paul already has experience as an in-game fighter in the likes of WWE 2K, and has even stated his desire to fight in MMA-style matches in the near-future. When considering all these factors, the likelihood that Logan Paul appears within UFC 5 seems extremely high.
