The UFC has come a long way since its early days when it was banned in 50 states. It paved the way for mixed martial arts as a mainstream combat sport, with events at the Madison Square Garden and the MGM Grand. It should come as no surprise that UFC 5 includes several famous arenas and some more obscure ones.
However, finding them in the game menu isn't as noticeable as in the predecessor. UFC 5 features several good locations for the Octagon to fight in, from the backyard to the T-Mobile Arena. This guide will show players where to find the arenas and how many to choose from.

How To Find And Change Arenas In UFC 5
There are several arenas in UFC 5 to use in local and online multiplayer matches. Their location on the in-game menus isn't as apparent as in UFC 4's menu. Use the following steps to change arenas in UFC 5:
Single Player And Local Multiplayer Matches
- On the main menu screen, select Fight Now.
- Players can now pick from UFC Main Card, UFC Main Event, UFC Championship, Backyard, and Kumite.
- Select the desired event and highlight the Venue option.
- Players can now use alternate arenas from smaller venues, like the WFA or the Apex Center.
Online Matches
Online matches are more restrictive, as players can't choose a specific arena in the Quick Fight mode. However, options are available for players who want a change of scenery.
- Select Onlne on the start menu screen.
- Select Quick Fight.
- Players can choose UFC-only events, UFC Main Card, UFC Main Event, and UFC Championships.
- Or one can choose to play in non-UFC venues with the Kumite matches and Backyward fights.
Alternatively, players can opt to invite a friend to play them online. This provides them with the same options as the offline Quick Match mode.
- Select Online and then highlight and select Invite.
- Pick one of the UFC 5's events.
- Scroll down and highlight Venue.
- Then, invite the opponent to the custom match.
