Summer might be done and dusted, but every season is a good season for a bargain. The Ubisoft Store has launched an Autumn Sale, discounting a wide selection of titles covering both recent and classic releases. The sale ends on October 13, 2022.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Riders Republic, Tom Clancy's The Division 2, For Honor, Steep, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Anno 1800, and Immortals Fenyx Rising Gold Edition are just some games that have received discounts. Furthermore, the sale includes plenty of DLC and Season Passes, which might be tempting for people who have been on the fence about picking up The Division 2's Warlords of New York or Valhalla's Wrath of the Druids. Ubisoft's Autumn Sale also contains a few first-person shooters, some of which rank among the publisher's best games.
Here are a few stand-out FPS titles, along with their discount percentages and links to their Ubisoft Store pages.
Far Cry 6
Release Date | October 13, 2021 |
---|---|
Subgenre | Open-World |
Ubisoft Autumn Sale Discount Percentage | 60% |

Unsurprisingly, the Autumn Sale covers a range of Far Cry entries, although customers may need to type "far cry" in the Ubisoft Store's search bar to get the full scope of the discounts. As the most recent entry in the franchise, Far Cry 6 gets the nod. The 2021 game attracted more mixed reviews compared to its predecessors, a consequence of the license sticking too close to the blueprint popularized by Far Cry 3.
That said, Far Cry 6 is still a great FPS that features satisfying gunplay, a gorgeous open-world, and a charismatic villain who chews every scene they are in (in a good way). Franchise fatigue is a real thing, but when viewed in isolation, Far Cry 6 has the strongest gameplay in the franchise, even if it just fine-tunes what came before it.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
Release Date | April 30, 2013 |
---|---|
Subgenre | Open-World |
Ubisoft Autumn Sale Discount Percentage | 70% |

Warranting a special mention, Blood Dragon is a Far Cry 3 spin-off that presents a strong case for being Ubisoft's best FPS game, at least in terms of single-player output. While technically an open-world, Blood Dragon is fairly self-contained and linear, with the campaign lasting roughly 5 hours.
The shooter takes inspiration from '80s action movies, embracing their over-the-top mayhem and tongue-in-cheek tone. If someone is looking for a game that is a thrill ride from beginning to end, Blood Dragon is the place to start.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
Release Date | December 1, 2015 |
---|---|
Subgenre | Tactical, Multiplayer |
Ubisoft Autumn Sale Discount Percentage | 60% |
Ubisoft Autumn Sale Link |
Rainbow Six Siege had a somewhat rough launch, but the tactical shooter eventually cemented itself as one of the leading multiplayer games on the market. While the Tom Clancy brand has been slightly watered down in recent years, Rainbow Six Siege successfully blends the tight and intense gameplay of earlier entries in the franchise with the mainstream appeal more recent titles have sought to capture.
Siege has amassed a dedicated fanbase over the last five years, and newcomers might feel overwhelmed when they first step into this universe. However, any fan of co-op shooters owes it to themselves to at least try this game.
Brothers In Arms - Earned In Blood
Release Date | October 4, 2005 |
---|---|
Subgenre | Military, Tactical |
Ubisoft Autumn Sale Discount Percentage | 60% |
Ubisoft Autumn Sale Link |
Brothers in Arms has not produced a proper console entry since 2008's underwhelming Double Time, and the franchise's two releases during the 2010s were iOS exclusives. Developed by Gearbox and published by Ubisoft, 2005's Earned in Blood is generally regarded as the license's peak. Centering around D-Day, the game mixes fact and fiction to tell an effective story aided by challenging gameplay.
Earned in Blood is not a twitch shooter, and while reflexes do play a part, positioning and tactics are far more important. As nearly two decades have passed since its release, some aspects of the game show their age, but there is a lot to appreciate about this 2000s FPS.
Road to Hill 30 and Hell's Highway are also 60% off during the Autumn Sale.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Release Date | April 16, 2008 |
---|---|
Subgenre | Tactical |
Ubisoft Autumn Sale Discount Percentage | 75% |
Ubisoft Autumn Sale Link |
Rainbow Six Siege is hardly the only Tom Clancy game discounted as part of the Autumn Sale. Along with recent titles like Extraction, Ubisoft has also slashed the prices of quite a few classic entries in the series, and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is one such title. A tactical shooter set in a modern setting, this game was arguably the subgenre's best representative when it debuted in 2008, and the package holds up reasonably well after all these years.
Engaging in tactical warfare on the Vegas strip is still as exciting as it was back in the day, and the single-player campaign maintains its momentum throughout its runtime. Even if the multiplayer modes do not offer much in this day and age, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is worth a look just for its solo content.
