Marvel Studios has officially welcomed the world to the Multiverse Saga. With Marvel Studio's more recent film releases like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the multiverse is open and being actively explored throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and during a presentation on Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Fiege announced how the multiverse saga will come to an epic conclusion.Feige announced that two new Avengers films will end the sixth phase in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The two new action-packed team-up films will be titled Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which will hit theaters on May 2nd, 2025, and Avengers: Secret Wars which will be released in theaters on November 7th, 2025.RELATED: 7 Characters Who Might Not Appear In The MCU's Secret Wars (If It Happens) Secret Wars, which will be the film to end phase 6 and the saga, is based on a comic crossover mini-series, which has two versions in the comics. The 1980s version follows all characters in the Marvel universe after they are transported to the planet Battle World by the Beyonder, and they are all pitted against each other. The 2015 version of Secret Wars has some slight changes from its predecessor. Instead, the Marvel characters from both Earth-616 and Earth-1610 are transported due to an incursion and find themselves having to reside in Battle World, a post-apocalyptic type universe that is policed by all multiverse versions of Thor.

With Secret Wars on its way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a few years, the story also calls for some other characters who are integral to the story but aren't active in the on-screen universe as of now. These characters are The Fantastic Four, Victor Von Doom, and Molecule Man. The Fantastic Four film has been confirmed to open up the sixth phase of the MCU and with Victor Von Doom being the group's arch enemy it's very likely he’ll make his full MCU debut during the new Fantastic Four film (there are rumors that the villain will appear in a post-credits scene in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever).

With the current state of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it seems that the on-screen adventure will most likely follow some main premises from the 2015 comic story since the idea of major incursions was introduced at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness during its post-credits. However, it’ll most likely incorporate elements from the original 1980s Secret Wars comic story as well. Now that the release dates are confirmed for these two films which are certain to be blockbusters, fans must now sit back and wait for when Marvel's Avengers return to the big screen in 2025.
