Nearly two years after Alinity's cat throwing incident, CodeMiko invites her on to discuss the situation. While CodeMiko was disappointed in her fans criticizing her for bringing Alinity on for a chat, Alinity said she "deserved it."

Alinity is often considered controversial in the Twitch community due to a number of incidents that only resulted in short bans. While some other famous Twitch streamers, like Dr Disrespect, are banned without warning or seemingly a cause, Alinity receives slaps on the wrist. However, some viewers believe she deserves heftier punishments, especially after she threw her cat during a heated game of Apex Legends. During a game, one of Alinity's cats stepped onto her desk and the streamer promptly launched the animal over her head, resulting in investigations by animal protection agencies. However, they ultimately determined she had "no malicious intent."

In a recent broadcast, virtual streamer CodeMiko invited Alinity to join her for the session, which her viewers were not happy about. But the vtuber herself isn't a stranger to bans either. CodeMiko was banned from Twitch three times in the last year, the most recent one of which was apparently due to her showing screenshots of harassment emails, but in doing so, she leaked a user's private information and doxed them. Still, CodeMiko faced backlash for bringing Alinity on and empathizing with her.

However, Alinity thinks that CodeMiko shouldn't feel bad about getting the backlash, saying that she "deserved" the hate caused by the cat situation. "I don't blame you for hating me," Alinity says.

But, Alinity continues, there's a difference between the type of people that hurt their animals regularly "versus me just having a moment in which I really f***ed up." She says that the Apex Legends incident is the only time she's done something like that to her cats and has never hurt them since. Still, people assume that she hasn't apologized for the "moment of stupidity." "I've apologized so much about it," Alinity says.

But viewers don't see what she did in the past to alleviate the situation and atone for her mistake, Alinity explains, such as invite the SPCA into her house. Alinity still continues to be harassed for the mistake, she claims.

Alinity also opened up about her cat allergies getting worse over the years. Prior to getting the cats, she was under the impression that mild allergies would grow accustomed to being around cats all the time, but for Alinity, the opposite happened. After sleepless nights from not being able to breathe well, Alinity eventually got surgery done inside her nose, though her allergies still persist to some degree now. But, Alinity says, she did this so she could keep her cats in the end.
