Twitch streamer Ludwig's impressive subathon has reached nearly 3 weeks of nonstop streaming. It recently experienced a hiccup, however, as the Twitch stream was cut off a bit early while Ludwig was sleeping.

Ludwig's headline garnering stream started as a subathon that promised to add time to the clock as long as new subs kept pouring in. There have been moments where the Twitch stream almost ended before finding new life, but the sudden end of the stream was unexpected, as the countdown timer for the stream had over 16 minutes left on it.

Thankfully, Ludwig confirmed that the stream's early closure was simply a mistake, and it resumed quickly after shutting down. The stream shut down while Ludwig was sleeping, as Ludwig's partner QTCinderella entered the room before walking over to something just off-camera and seemingly pressing a button, causing the stream to shut down, much to the surprise of everyone in the chat. Thankfully, QTCinderella has come out since and said that it was an accident, as she had mistakenly pushed the wrong button, so the stream was quickly brought back up and Ludwig's insane Twitch subathon is still running at the time of writing.

On April 3 Ludwig spoke about potentially keeping the Twitch stream going as long as possible, which is capped at 31 days, to see if he could potentially beat Ninja's Twitch subs record of 269,000. When the stream was unexpectedly turned off, he was at 182,000, meaning he would need quite a few more in the roughly 10 possible days left of the subathon. Ludwig has also spoken about how he did not expect the stream to last this long and said that he even had to delay plans he had made for a weekend away with QTCinderella.

Even if Ludwig is unable to hit his 269,000 sub-goal, his stream is still impressive. Ludwig spoke recently about how the subathon has affected his attitude towards streaming as well as his Twitch chat, but it is, regardless, a stream for the history books. The stream has been hovering close to ending for a few days now but seems to manage to keep on going despite many fans in chat spamming to let the sub end and "free" Ludwig from the subathon. Even if chat never does, however, there are only a few days left until the stream reaches the 31-day cap from Twitch and has to shut down and give Ludwig some much-deserved peace and privacy.
