Following the ban of Kai Cenat, Jynxzi is now the top streamer on Twitch. Though Kai Cenat still has a substantial subscriber count to his name, Jynxzi has become, in terms of active subscribers across the board, the most-subscribed channel on Twitch at the time of writing.

With a meteoric rise to the top of Twitch in 2022, the 21-year-old Kai Cenat had over 200,000 active subscribers and became the third Twitch streamer to reach that mark. However, on April 17, Kai Cenat received his second ban from Twitch this year. The reasons for his ban remained undisclosed, but given his recent ban history with Twitch, it will likely be a temporary one. Whether Kai Cenat will regain the subscriber count he once had remains to be seen. However, with Kai Cenat's ban, a dip in his subscriber count was expected, as was the rise of another top streamer.

According to TwitchTracker, Jynxzi has the most current active subscribers on Twitch, with a count of 76,629 at the time of writing. In addition, Jynxzi holds the top count in paid and gifted subscribers, with all but 138 of his 53,563 paid subscribers at Tier 1, priced at $4.99 per month before applicable taxes. The number two streamer on the list is the controversial Felix "xQc" Lengyel, who claims the title of most subscribers via Prime Gaming. The program allows Amazon Prime subscribers that connect their accounts to claim perks such as a free Tier 1 subscription to the stream of their choice. Kai Cenat was bumped down to third place but still retained similar subscriber numbers to xQc. At the time of writing, Jynxzi has 10,000 more subscribers than both xQc and Kai Cenat.

Jynxzi's content is focused on Ubisoft's team shooter Rainbow Six Siege, which introduced a new anti-cheat system aimed at deterring console cheaters. In a recent stream, Jynxzi reacted to the news that he overtook Kai Cenat as the most-subscribed streamer on Twitch and tried to call his mother to tell her the good news. However, he was sent to voicemail and said he would try again later. Nevertheless, Jynxzi and his chat reacted positively to his success. Only time will tell how long Jynxzi will remain at the top of the rankings.

The rise of Jynxzi comes as Twitch announced plans to reduce the number of pre-roll ads on the platform. Given that pre-roll ad placement can be a detriment to attracting new viewers, it remains to be seen how it will impact the site going forward.
