About a couple of months ago, Night Dive Studios' remaster of Turok: Dinosaur Hunter received a PEGI rating for Xbox One, indicating that it and the remaster of its sequel, Seeds of Evil, would be coming to Xbox One soon. Now, both of the updated titles are making their way onto the current generation platform on March 2, 2018, as confirmed by the games' appearances on the official Microsoft Store.

As seen below in the trailer for Night Dive Studios' Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, the classic game that originally made its debut on the Nintendo 64 has been restored and enhanced with a new visual engine and fresh features for its remastered iteration on Xbox One. For those who want to pick up the first game in the series, as well as Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, both are individually priced at $20 apiece.

With Night Dive Studios having released some fresh footage for its enhanced version of Turok 1 today, there may be some who want to see some visuals for Seeds of Evil before committing to purchasing both of the remasters. Thankfully, the developer has previously put out a trailer showing off the refinements made for the second entry, but it's worth noting that the clip shows assets from its PC iteration. Despite this, it's safe to presume that both the Xbox One version and PC release will boast most, if not all of the same features.

Taking all of this into consideration, it will be interesting to see if fans' demand for the remasters of Turok 1 and 2 for Xbox One will actually translate to concrete sales for the titles on the system. While many are certainly influenced by the nostalgia of playing the original titles, some who have clamored for the games to come to Microsoft's current generation console may eventually decide to save their money for some of the most anticipated new games of 2018 instead.
