Turbo Golf Racing mixes futuristic racetracks, golf, and Rocket League-style turbo-powered cars for fun and fast-paced multiplayer mayhem. In Solo Mode in Turbo Golf Racing players must achieve four stars to unlock the Online lobby, and races are split into 3 types: Urban, Industrial, and Wild. Each category contains 12 races for players to unlock by completing races and achieving stars based on overall time performance, with three stars to unlock per race.

The races in Turbo Golf Racing often give players multiple pathways to choose from, but all contain features that either help or hinder the player, from boost-charged rings to traditional golf-style sandpits, not forgetting the fact there are little to no sides to stop players from falling out-of-bounds in true Mario Kart Rainbow Road racetrack style. Getting to know each level can be the key to success, with some races being easier or trickier to navigate than others.

12 Beginner Friendly - Electric Avenue

Electric Avenue Race In Turbo Golf Racing

Electric Avenue is the first race in the Urban race set, so it's probably no surprise that it's the most beginner-friendly and easiest to obtain all three stars. It's a short corner with boost rings and pads for players to pick up speed, with minimal obstacles in the form of sandpits and grassy areas that slow players down.

It's a decent introductory map to help onboard new players and get them used to the main features of races, so players can complete and replay it quite quickly to achieve those desirable pink stars.

11 A Choice Of Two Paths - Overdrive HQ

Overdrive HQ Race In Turbo Golf Racing

Overdrive HQ is the second race in the Urban set and is the first to give players a decision about what route to take with a choice of left or right. Whichever path players choose, they can simply follow the arrows which circle the perimeter on their journey to aim for the finish.

There are more obstacles in this race than Electric Avenue, increasing the overall challenge slightly, including a sizable sandpit with a central boost bar, larger grass areas, and rocks on corners that shouldn't give players too many problems.

10 A Central Shortcut - Eye In The Sky

Eye In The Sky Race In Turbo Golf Racing

The large central pillar with a boost ring cut into the middle like an eyehole stands out in this third race. It's the first race that could cause players some confusion, as when players shoot the ball up into this hole through one of the lower boost rings, the ball travels through the eye and shoots straight to the other side of the race, short-cut style.

Players can boost across past the eye and then press X while airborne on an Xbox controller to glide or can press select to reset their ball if it becomes lost or goes out of bounds.

9 Obstacles Aplenty And Ramp For The Sky - Sky Bridge

Sky Bridge Race In Turbo Golf Racing

The fourth race in the Urban set, Sky Bridge is the first race in the Urban classification to include ramps, though it follows a similar corner style race shape similar to Electric Avenue and is much larger.

Players can try to use the boost rings to propel their ball forward and up to the ramp if possible, but it's tricky to time the jump and easy to crash into. There are also a lot of rocks and trees in this race which can get in the way and make it harder to achieve the challenging 22 seconds time milestone.

8 Tunnels And Trees - Twisted Garden

Twisted Garden Race In Turbo Golf Racing

Twisted Garden is the fifth Urban race and gives players the choice to drive through the huge purple tube or follow the winding path to the left. The tube option is quicker and benefits from having sides to prevent players or the ball from going out of bounds, but it does have purple trees to dodge inside.

Towards the finish, a pink sloped area surrounds the hole, slowing players down, but can this be useful if players overshoot the ball and need a sharp stopping point.

7 Tricky Tunnel - Terminal 19

Terminal 19 Race In Turbo Golf Racing

Terminal 19 is the 6th Urban race but doesn't quite make the top five as it's pretty straightforward with a main left route. The inner of the central roofed terminal can be challenging as it contains large sand areas that are tricky to avoid and slow cars down. However, players can press A to jump and then A again on an Xbox controller to dash forward or alternatively can try to flip over them.

The race is also a bit more challenging than previous races as it's easy for the ball to go out of bounds, especially when navigating corners.

6 Heights And Flying Tunnels - Ball Falls

Ball Falls Race In Turbo Golf Racing

Ball Falls almost makes the top 5 for difficulty as the first part of the race can be challenging, but the second part is a breeze in this seventh race. At the start, it's tough to shoot the ball along the central straight path, and most players fall off onto the lower level, where they must navigate obstacles leading to the flight tunnel.

Once players travel up the tunnel and fly out, it's pretty much a straight line to the finish with the chance of hitting the ball through a floating boost ring for a speedy finish.

5 Rocky Guardians And Flying Shortcut - Rocket Ramp

Rocket Ramp Race In Turbo Golf Racing

Rocket Ramp is the eleventh unlockable race and gives players the choice of two routes. The left, smaller circle is trickier to navigate but worth doing as it leads players into a quick flight path that is marginally quicker than taking the right turn.

The hardest part of this race is getting past the five rocks at the front of the finish point, as it's easy to bash the ball or player car into them and lose time. Players can aim towards the back rings for a quicker finish.

4 Turbo Path And Winding Corners - The Snake

The Snake Race In Turbo Golf Racing

The Snake is the final race in the Urban set, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the toughest. There's a cool central boost pad that runs around the whole track which players can try to stay on for maximum speed, but this can make it difficult to keep the ball in bounds, especially when turning corners.

At the edge of the track, there's a set of boost rings that players can shoot the ball through to transport it round and straight into the hole domino style. It's a test of control and speed but a quick race overall that shouldn't present players with too many issues.

3 Hilly Elevation - Elevator 7

Elevator 7 Race In Turbo Golf Racing

Elevator 7's name is apt with the giant, transparent, futuristic-style elevator that dominates the middle of the track. Although players only need to decide whether to go left or right with two possible pathways, the terrain is hilly with many trees and sandpit obstacles to avoid, plus ramps, boost pads and rings to navigate.

Near the finish, the level drops down which can catch players off guard, and players also need to be accurate with their shots to avoid punting the ball out of bounds.

2 Twisty Turns And Tunnels - Inner City Circuit

Inner City Circuit In Turbo Golf Racing

Inner City Circle is the 9th race in the Urban list and is a tough one, making the top 2 with its tricky corners that snake round and ramps. Around the middle of the race, there are three boost rings, and players must choose which one to fly through but must first accurately hit the ball in one that's often easier said than done.

Towards the finish, there are eight giant brick pillars surrounding the finish, so players need to be careful where they shoot the ball to avoid losing valuable time trying to get around them.

1 Speed And Accuracy - Hyper Flight Corner

Hyper Flight Corner Race In Turbo Golf Racing

Hyper Flight Corner makes the number 1 spot for difficulty as a test of speed, flight, and accuracy in arguably the toughest race that's tenth in the Urban set. Players must navigate tight corners and fly through and beyond two long flight tunnels using their flight skills, plus it can be challenging to hit the ball accurately through the giant golf balls.

Players can use the boost rings towards the end of the race to try to punt the ball into the finish in boosted succession.

Turbo Golf Racing is available now on Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, and PC.
