Tribes of Midgard is more than just another survival crafting game, blending fantasy action and roguelite elements to create a thrilling cross-genre experience. To be victorious in the Viking world, players will need the best equipment they can get their hands on, and that requires plenty of precious resources. One such resource is Silver. Here's everything the player needs to know about how to get Silver quickly.

Where To Find Silver

Tribes Of Midgard - Land of Pools

Silver is a natural resource, and like other natural resources, the player will need to harvest it from the land. Silver is contained within rocks, but the player can't just take a Pickaxe to any old rock and expect to find this precious metal. Unfortunately, only certain rocks in certain places produce Silver, so the player has to know the right place to look. Given that Silver is a necessary ingredient in many important crafting recipes, getting it quickly is worth the effort if the player wants the best gear.

Silver can be found in the Land of Pools region within Tribes of Midgard. Players who have explored a good deal may already have encountered the Land of Pools. Whereas the green areas on the player's map mark the Bright Forest, brownish-green areas mark the Land of Pools. Goblins, Trolls, and Dragons can all be found within, so the player must be careful and bring their best weapons while exploring.

How To Get Silver Fast

Tribes of Midgard - Mining Silver

Silver is contained within the appropriately titled Silver Rocks. To gather Silver, the player must mine it. Doing so is a simple matter of approaching a Silver Rock and interacting with it. The rate at which the player gathers Silver varies, however, depending on what kind of harvesting tool the player has. Only a Flint Pickaxe is necessary to mine, but the player will mine faster with better Pickaxes, so it pays to upgrade as soon as possible, especially since gear in Tribes of Midgard weakens and breaks.

A Silver Pickaxe can be constructed from 1 Stone Pickaxe, 3 Stones, and 2 Silver, so a good way to mine Silver faster is to begin the mining process with whatever Pickaxe is available but stop as soon as the player has 2 Silver, craft a Silver Pickaxe, and then resume mining. This way the player can significantly accelerate their mining time. Using subpar harvesting tools is a common mistake.

The fastest way to harvest Silver is with a Gold Pickaxe, which requires 1 Crystal Pickaxe, 4 Cut Stones, 2 Gold, and 1 Golden Horn to craft. With the right Pickaxe in hand, the player will have more Silver than they know what to do with and will be conquering the Viking world like a pro.

Tribes of Midgard is available now for PC, PS4, and PS5.
