Tower Unite is a somewhat unique game when compared to other social games and VRChat clones, given that it has no microtransactions and has its players earn their currency instead. However, this makes players wonder how they make money since they still need the in-game currency to purchase new condos, items, and accessories.

There are a lot of moneymaking methods in Tower Unite, most of which require a lot of time and effort. One method stands above them all as the ultimate money-maker, but it does come at a cost, and players should be ready to spend some time playing the game before they can afford the most expensive items.

Method 1: Achievements

The easiest way to earn money in Tower Uniteis by earning achievements. Achievements are earned through the most basic tasks, and, given that there are 500+ of them, any given activity will likely lead to an achievement eventually. For example, customizing one's character with a workshop model, adding furniture to a condo, or playing the game long enough can all grant achievements.

All achievements can be viewed by just pressing the "B" key, and most of them grant thousands of units for doing basic tasks. This is the place to start for any player who is just beginning and needs some quick cash but shouldn't be considered for the long term.

Method 2: Arcade Games

A far less obvious and way more fun way to earn money in Tower Unite is through the Arcade machines in the Warp Zone arcade, in front of where every player spawns. This Arcade is filled to the brim with tons of fun machines that all award players tickets based on their performance, and unlike a real arcade, none of them are rigged. Players can then trade these tickets for items and sell them by holding Q and right-clicking them in their inventories.

While it isn't the fastest money-making method in Tower Unite, it's undoubtedly quite fun. The best machines for earning tickets on the cheap are Stack 'em, Mas Fuerte 2K, and Planetary Piano, all of which only require five tokens. The coin pusher, Coin River, generally awards the most tickets, but it does require 60 tokens to play.

Method 3: Minigames

Unlike arcade games, the matchmaking hub contains a selection of minigames that all award quite a bit of money every time they're played. For example, there's Mini golf, a zombie survival game, a Monkey Ball style game, a Mario Kart-style game, a co-op survival game, and a PVP arena game. These are all free, but most require at least one other player.

Other players will often join any of these games when they're started in the matchmaking hub, which is accessed by just heading forward from spawn. Of all these, Golf is easily the most popular. It gets updates frequently and awards a shockingly large amount of cash. It requires a second player, but if two people play, they'll both reap the benefits.

Method 4: Gambling

Opposite the side of the Arcade, the Casino is quite obviously a place to go and gamble. This Casino contains just about every gambling game a Tower Unite player would want to spend their hard-earned money on, and most of them are fairer and give better payouts than a real casino. The only issue is that it is still gambling, regardless.

This method is the highest risk and highest reward. Some players head into the Casino, bet it all on slots or Roulette, and come out with zero units left. The best games to go for are Roulette for the highest payout, Wheel of Money for the low-risk bets that almost always return more money, and Blackjack for being the easiest to make quite a lot of money on.

Tower Unite is available now in Early Access on Steam.
