It’s a composite lubricant that’s crucial for leveling up a vehicle in Tower of Fantasy, along with other equally important items. Luckily for Wanderers, the FF79 Alloy Lubricant can be obtained through various methods. Some are free and only require killing specific enemies while others need a certain currency.
How To Gather FF79 Alloy Lubricant In Tower Of Fantasy
The FF79 Alloy Lubricant can be gathered using four different methods. Some depend on luck, while others will definitely reward the maintenance item. These methods are:
- Dropped from Password Chests in Tower of Fantasy
- Dropped by Mechs enemies
- Purchased from Support Store
- Purchased from a vendor
Dropped From Password Chests In Tower Of Fantasy

Password Chests can be found almost anywhere in the vast world of Aesperia in Tower of Fantasy. There are two kinds of Password Chests: T1 Password Chests (blue) and T2 Password Chests (purple). The former requires a blue key to unlock whereas the latter requires a purple key.
The easiest method to gather all types of keys is by completing daily Bounties and weekly missions. This way, Wanderers won’t ever have to worry about decrypting any Password Chests. They are mostly scattered in Tower of Fantasy Astra and Banges. With this method, acquiring an FF79 Alloy Lubricant mostly depends on players’ luck.
Defeat Mechs Enemies In Tower Of Fantasy

Mechs are enemies that resemble a machine like Hethlu and Okka of the Four Powers. They can be found in Navia and have a high chance of dropping FF79 Alloy Lubricant. Detter still, since the game's enemies respawn in a short time, players can look for a good spot to farm and keep repeating the progress until they have the desired amount of FF79 Alloy Lubricant.
Purchased From Support Store In Tower Of Fantasy
By pressing on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen and selecting the Commissary option, Wanderers can enter the Support Store and buy FF79 Alloy Lubricant. Each costs 50 Support Points, which is the currency of the shop that can be obtained by joining a team and helping other players. There is no limit to how much lubricant can be bought in the Support Store.
Purchased From A Vendor In Tower Of Fantasy
In Banges Dock, there’s a merchant (Claude) on the second floor that sells useful items like the FF79 Alloy Lubricant. However, there is a limit to buying this maintenance item. Players can only buy 10 per week, with one being 500 gold coins.
If the vendor proves hard to be found, players can simply click on the FF79 Alloy Lubricant in the Backpack, then press the Item Vendor in Banges option to mark his location on the map in Tower of Fantasy.
