Like the Colossus Arm Relic, Type V Armor is an SSR DPS Relic that can be unlocked through various methods in Tower of Fantasy. It allows players to pilot a powerful droid for 30 seconds that can deal up to 44.4% damage when the Aimed Shot skill is active. The only downside for the Type V Armor is that it takes about 200 seconds to Cooldown.
Upon advancing in Tower of Fantasy, Wanderers will keep unlocking new Relics while using multiple methods. Sadly, acquiring the Type V Armor is a lot of work, especially for those who wish to have it early on in the game. Luckily for them, there are two methods to get this SSR Relic.
How To Unlock Type V Armor Relic In Tower Of Fantasy
The first method is time-consuming because players need to reach a certain Exploration Progress in the region Crown. Each level of exploration rewards a handy item like Nucleus, new outfits, or a critical ingredient that permanently increases Endurance in Tower of Fantasy.
To do that, reaching level 1050 or above in the Exploration Progress is essential to get the Type V Armor SSR Relic. Wanderers can fill up their progress meter faster by:
- Looting Supply Pods. Tthere are 52 in Crown. Eight Supply Pod II rewards Gold Nucleus and 44 Supply Pod I that rewards Black Nucleus.
- Unlocking and completing all three Ruins that are scattered around the Region.
- Interacting with all six Spacerift for easier access to other areas.
- Powering up the Crown Omnium Tower to clear the fog and unlock the map.
- Discovering all four of the Tower of Fantasy Scenic Points in the region to keep the memories.
After a while, players will surely get rewarded for their hard work and get the Type V Armor.
The second method is easier but also time-consuming, as it involves a special perk in the game. One of the many useful features in Tower of Fantasy, is that players get a random item every day they log in for seven days, and then the process repeats itself the following week. To find out where this feature is, players should click on the gift-shaped icon in the top right corner, then choose Rewards and Sign In. The last reward is the SSR Relic Shard Box, which basically allows players to pick one of these SSR Relic Shards:
- Colossus Arm Shard
- Omnium Shield Shard
- Type V Armor Shard
- Spacetime Rift Shard
- Confinement Shard
- Drone Shard
To unlock Type V Armor, Wanderers must collect 30 Shards. Other brilliant methods to farm Relic Shards include completing Ruins, defeating World Bosses, and clearing Claire's Dream Machines that appear randomly while exploring the world of Aesperia.
Even if Type V Armor is obtained, collecting the shards will remain a crucial step if Wanderers wish to strengthen this particular Relic and benefit from activating its Stars.
