Taste of the Sea is a side quest in Tower of Fantasy that players can complete in order to earn the Surf and Turf cooking recipe. The first step toward tackling this quest is to collect three Portunid in Tower of Fantasy, and these crabs can be found all along the beach. After finding the requisite number of Portunid, fans will be instructed to gather two Darby's Sturgeon in Blue River, and this guide is here to assist with that task.

Tower of Fantasy: Darby's Sturgeon in Blue River

Players that are on the hunt for Darby's Sturgeon in Blue River will need to head north of Jupiter. More specifically, there is a large river that cuts through the center of the map, and it is in the shallows of that body of water that fans can find the relevant fish. For full clarity, this river is situated just north of Tower of Fantasy's Ring of Echos, and fast traveling to the Astra Omnium Tower is an easy way to reach it quickly.

To note, some players suggest that it may be easier to find Darby's Sturgeon in Blue River at sunset. Fans that have spent some time using their Jetboards to patrol the river and have not seen any of these green fish may thus want to wait until later in the day. The time of day does not appear to be a strict requirement for obtaining Darby's Sturgeon in Tower of Fantasy, though, and players that are persistent should eventually see them regardless of when they search.

With two Darby's Sturgeon in hand, players should return to Jupiter to complete the Taste of the Sea quest and collect their rewards. One of those rewards is the aforementioned Surf and Turf recipe, which requires one Darby's Sturgeon and two Poultry Eggs. The resulting dish regenerates eight Satiety and immediately restores some HP, and while it is certainly not the best food in Tower of Fantasy, it can be useful nonetheless.

It is also possible to eat a cooked Darby's Sturgeon without combining it into the Surf and Turf dish. This action will only restore two Satiety, though, which is quite a small amount indeed. In fact, Tower of Fantasy players that are looking to replenish some Satiety are better off eating almost any other dish in the game and saving their Darby's Sturgeon until they have some spare Poultry Eggs to cook with them.

Tower of Fantasy is available on Mobile and PC.
