One of the things distinguishing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom from Breath of the Wild is the sheer amount of unique armor pieces and complete armor sets. One such armor set is the Zora Armor, making a return from the previous game with an improved new look. In order to complete this armor set, players will need to complete the 'Token of Friendship' side quest presented by Yona, an NPC unique to Tears of the Kingdom.
How to Start the Token of Friendship Side Quest
In order to trigger the 'Token of Friendship' side quest, players must first complete the 'Sidon of the Zora' portion of Regional Phenomena. Then, head to the central hub of Zora's Domain, where Dorephan and Sidon can be found. Yona will be in that area with a red exclamation point next to her thoughts, indicating she has a quest for Link.
Yona will tell Link of the Zora Greaves, part of the Zora Armor set that allows Link to swim up waterfalls and boosts swim speed. She's pretty sure they're somewhere in the Ancient Zora Waterworks now that the water has been drained, which will be Link's next stop.
Where to Find the Zora Greaves
Follow the steps below to find the Zora Greaves and complete the side quest.
Finding the Ancient Zora Waterworks
Players can access the Ancient Zora Waterworks through a whirlpool in the East Reservoir Lake, which will have opened up as part of the main Zora quest.
In the Ancient Zora Waterworks
Inside the Ancient Zora Waterworks, players will find a Zora named Gruve, who confirms that all the water has been drained from the area. Head toward the back of the Waterworks to find the large hole pictured above. Jump into that hole to find a new, undiscovered area of the Ancient Zora Waterworks.
At the back of this room, players should see a waterfall. Behind this waterfall is a treasure chest containing the Zora Greaves that Yona told Link about. Optionally, there is a Luminous Stone Talus directly outside the entrance to the waterfall that the treasure is behind. Players can either fight it or run away, as it won't be able to attack Link behind the waterfall.
The quest is now complete. Returning to Yona will trigger some unique dialogue about the Greaves, and she'll inform the player of another side quest to get the Zora Helm.
