One of the best parts about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the vibrant world full of things to do aside from the main quest. 'Ousting the Giants' is one of many Side Quests Link can distract himself from saving Hyrule with, and it's one that offers pretty quality loot in return. How to Trigger the 'Ousting the Giants' Side Quest
Players can trigger 'Ousting the Giants' at Lakeside Stable in the Faron Region, which can be found at coordinates 1547, -3535, -0061. Speak to an NPC called Kampos (who can be found at different locations around the stable at various times), who will tell Link about troubles the region has been having with three monstrous giants. If only someone would slay them.
Where to Find the Hinox Brothers
The Hinox Brothers are located in three caves around Faron. They're pretty easily accessible from Lakeside Stable, and selecting 'Ousting the Giants' on the quest menu will place three pins on the map in the locations of the three brothers. Having Zora Armor will help speed up the process by allowing the player to swim up waterfalls.
How to Defeat the Hinox Brothers
Defeating the Hinox Brothers is just like beating any Hinox in Tears of the Kingdom. Aim for the eye, which is their weak point, and strike them while they're down to do maximum damage. They all have differing HP, the youngest brother having the lowest and the elder brother having the highest. Regardless, with enough hearts and perhaps an attack boost, players should be able to make easy work of the three giants.
The Hinox Brothers will drop the following when defeated:
- Any weaponry they have on them, including Royal Bows, Knight's Halberds, and Soldier's Broadswords.
- Hinox Toenails
- Hinox Teeth
- Hinox Guts
- Hinox Horns
- Apples
- Wildberries
- Voltfruit
- Fortified Pumpkins
- Palm Fruit
Reward for Completing 'Ousting the Giants'
Return to Kampos at Lakeside Stable to collect the reward. The reward for completing 'Ousting the Giants' is some Mighty Fried Bananas that grant a midlevel attack power boost. This reward is certainly not substantial enough for all the work Link has done, but the real treasure is the monster parts, and powerful weaponry dropped by the Hinox Brothers.
