The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has players journeying across Hyrule in their quest to resolve its myriad of troubles and locate the lost Princess Zelda. Along the way, Link can take the time to engage in a variety of side activities and interact with the various people he meets.

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players can find a new Goron theme park called "Mine-Cart Land" and spend some time taking on the challenges offered by its three courses. This guide will cover the second of the three courses, known as the Quickshot Course.

How to Unlock the Side Quest

In order to gain access to the "Mine-Cart Land Quickshot Course" side quest, players will first need to complete the main quest "Yunobo of Goron City" and the side quest "Mine-Cart Land Open For Business." Once both of these quests have been completed, this quest will automatically begin.

After completing the first course, players can access the Quickshot Course by speaking to Heehl, one of the three brothers who run Mine-Cart Land. Heehl will explain the rules of the Quickshot Course, which are functionally near-identical to those for the previous course. The main difference between the previous course and this one is the number of targets that need to be hit.

Players will need to hit 7 targets before the cart stops if they want to clear this challenge, though this is unlikely to be a big problem owing to the number of additional targets beyond the 7 required. Players are therefore able to make several mistakes and still clear the course without issue. Generally, players will want to wait until they are near a target before firing if they have difficulty aiming since this will minimize arrow drop-off. Completing the Quickshot Course will inspire Kabetta to create a third course running down Death Mountain and reward the player with 50 Rupees.

Players are able to freely re-challenge the Quickshot Course for a 20 Rupee fee or attempt the course and get a bundle of 10 arrows for 50 Rupees. This can be useful for players who want to practice their archery or try to beat their best time, and completing the course in around 30 seconds will nab a full refund and 5 additional arrows. Players who are confident in their aim could use this as a means to farm arrows, though there are certainly more effective and less time-consuming means of doing so.
