Before Tears of the Kingdom players can begin the ' Eerie Voice' Side Adventure , they might need to first initiate the 'Potential Princess Sightings' questline. Players must visit the Lucky Clover Gazette near Rito Village and speak to Traysi. Once the quest begins, players will find the 'Eerie Voice' questgiver, Penn, at every stable across Hyrule.
An Eerie Voice can be picked up at Faron Grasslands' Highland Stable, located in the southern section of Hyrule at the coordinates 0496, -3386, 0047. Players must speak to Penn, who is standing pretty close to the stable's main entrance and a cooking pot.
An Eerie Voice Quest Guide
Penn tells Link that people around the area have been hearing an ominous voice that sounds very familiar to Princess Zelda. He also mentions that the voice seems to be coming from a local area called Fural Plain to the northwest, but specifically during the nighttime only.
To continue the quest, players can interact with the nearby cooking pot with the A button and then choose to sit by the fire until night to pass the time. Once it's dark, speak to Penn again and then choose the dialog option "Let's go, partner!" He'll transport players a little bit away from the stable. Speak to him again in the field.
After talking to him, follow the voice northwest-ish to find a well, specifically the Haran Lakefront Well. Go ahead and hop inside the well to find an NPC named Sagessa. It turns out that she was simply singing a little jingle and people were throwing their weapons down there because of a certain lyric they misheard.
After speaking to her, Penn will being players back to the field and will reward them with a Purple Rupee, which is worth 50 Rupees.
Even though this will complete the 'An Eerie Voice' quest, TotK players can head back into the well and take all the weapons that people have been dropping down there. The weapons are:
- Blue Moblin Smasher
- Giant Boomerang
- Blue Lizal Reaper
- Blue Moblin Pulverizer
And like always, plater can rely on Link's trusty new Ascend ability to escape the well.
