Releasing officially on September 4, there's not long to go until skating fans can jump into Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 and re-experience the seminal 90s classics. The upcoming remake has already received a lot of acclaim from longtime series fans, with the title's Warehouse Demo gaining a lot of traction when it dropped recently, so it seems the game is shaping up to be a strong return to form for the long-dormant skating classic.

With the release coming soon, the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 YouTube account has seen fit to drop a brand new launch trailer, showing off a ton of new content for the game as well as confirming a series of huge returning features. Among these is the confirmation that the game's alien-themed Roswell level will make a return, as well as the ability to create crazy skating parks to pull off some insane tricks.

From beginning to end, the trailer shows various pro skaters pulling off some crazy feats over a series of classic Tony Hawk's Pro Skater maps, including Hawk himself landing a huge jump off a long ramp on a freighter ship. Other tricks include maneuvering down a winding road before ollieing in front of a moving tram and a skater managing to land an almost ludicrous backflip off his board while falling from a bridge. Of course, it seems the remake will still have the exact same wacky tone that transformed the original games into such beloved classics.

The trailer then teases multiplayer, highlighting that players will be able to enjoy Pro Skater 1 + 2 with their friends. Showing off the feature, the game highlights two skaters hitting some incredible moves in an impressively large skatepark. The footage then jumps to the confirmation that the game's Roswell area will make a return, with one character from the original reprising their role. That is, of course, the tall, grey alien strapped to the operating table which appeals to the player as they skate through the base. It seems fans might even get to play as the funny intergalactic being as well, with a recent leak showing an image of the alien with a skateboard.

Finally, the trailer showcases the building mode, with the player in the footage constructing a long ramp and a full pipe before skating down it and gaining some serious speed. Overall, it seems as though the remake is shaping up to be the biggest and best entry the series has seen in years, with all the classic skaters, maps, and incredible music that made the franchise so utterly iconic.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2 will be available on September 4 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
