Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered released on February 14 to a positive response from fans and critics alike. As the name implies, the re-released trilogy is a remaster as opposed to a remake and mostly retains the three games' classic graphics while dressing them up with improved textures, animations, and more. Additionally, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered includes all expansions, plenty of gameplay improvements, and over 200 achievements. However, some fans were a bit confused after its recent launch.

Lara Croft has been to many places on her adventures, but where will she go next? Here are some locations where the next Tomb Raider game may be set.

Twitter user small_medipack made a thread detailing all the differences that fans noticed in Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered's Epic Games Store version, which included various improvements like more photo mode poses, better textures and skyboxes in certain levels, upgraded snowflakes, and more. O February 29, Aspyr announced it had updated the Epic Games Store version to match the Steam release and also explained why this issue occurred, which was due to the Epic Games Store edition actually being a development build that contained incomplete assets.

Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered's Next Update

Understandably, owners of the EGS version are slightly frustrated that they can no longer enjoy that edition's upgrades. However, the EGS version's many improvements will hopefully be added to Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered in a future update. In the same announcement, Aspyr confirmed that it's working on the game's first update and is expecting it to be ready in a couple of weeks, but didn't hint at its contents. It seems that Aspyr could be working on a Tomb Raider 4 remaster at this time as well.

Despite the recent confusion, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered has received largely positive reviews, which praise the game for not messing with the original formula while tastefully dressing it up with plenty of improvements. Aspyr, which specializes in porting games, has another exciting project in the works in addition to the potential Tomb Raider 4 remaster.

Aspyr is developing the Star Wars: Battlefront Collection, which releases on March 14 and includes all the original two games' content plus new maps and heroes like Jabba's Palace, Yavin 4: Arena, Asajj Ventress, and Kit Fisto. The collection will support 64-player online matches and will launch on all major consoles and PC.
