The Tokyo Ghoul 10th Anniversary project was originally announced back in March, and part of the initial celebrations included the release of all 48 episodes of the anime, including OVAs, for free on Studio Pierrot's YouTube channel. Milestone events, especially for popular franchises like this one, can often herald a reboot of the aforementioned titles. Some titles in recent history, even some that do not have the same level of popularity, have undergone the reboot treatment, and for many fans, Tokyo Ghoul is the prime example of an anime in dire need of a faithful adaptation of the source material; however, that will remain a pipe dream for now. In the meantime, the anime is still being streamed on the official Pierrot YouTube every Friday at 18:30 JST, with the episodes remaining available for up to two weeks after the upload, and tickets to the upcoming exhibition can be purchased on the official website.
