To Your Eternity season two, episode 15, "The Self, Worn Down", that war has finally begun, and the Nokkers figured out how to make trebuchets. They are launching boulders at the walls of Renril, but luckily Fushi's regeneration is rebuilding the walls just as fast as they're getting hit. The real kicker to this episode is Fushi blinking a bit and commenting that a new person just entered the city. Bon tries to play it off like someone just gave birth, but Fushi tells him it didn't feel like that. March is alive and has returned in the middle of a war zone. Fushi had secretly extended his sensory field farther outside Renril that anyone knew about, and he easily wipes out the trebuchets by erupting branches out of the ground and skewering the Nokkers. The soldiers watch in awe as Fushi kills more Nokkers, even though he looks completely haggard after the defense. Kahaku tries to comfort him, but Fushi tells him to go away so he could focus.

Another citizen of Renril find March, alone and crying, and offers to take her to his house for safety. While Fushi continues to kill Nokkers, the soldiers guarding the waterways notice that the fish are floating on the surface, leaving everyone's drinking water full of dead fish and Nokkers. Six hours later, Bon is talking to his ghost friends about how they haven't seen March when he realizes the water smells weird. A soldier falls down not far from him, poisoned from the water. Poisoning the water supply is a pretty effective way to win a siege; the Nokkers aren't playing. After telling the citizens still in the city to not drink the water, the Renril defenders conclude that it was all a trap. Get Fushi to kill them and then die in the water supply. Thankfully they still have some well water, but it won't last long. Bon's plan was to have Fushi attack the Nokkers to the west, but Kahaku was quick to tell him off for overworking him. Hairo agrees, and the other three warriors volunteer for the job.

Taking Down the Nokkers

to your eternity - nokkers

Fushi stumbles into the room from the wall and reports that 59 people have died already. Another person dies while they're talking, and Kai has Fushi drink the poisoned water. He requests that Fushi reproduce this in a reservoir and to connect it to a fancy, deadly, new water gun. Fushi does it then and there, and when Messar tests it, the pressure of the water rips apart some of the ceiling. Kai calls it his back up weapon, but he also presents Fushi with a set of armor, made just for him.

They strategize that Fushi should focus on the west while everyone else focuses on the front. They are going to draw the Nokkers closer, so the wall defenses of the city could take some of the weight off Fushi's shoulders.

Meanwhile, March is staying with a nice couple who are confused heavily by her. She keeps asking for Fushi, and while the couple was coming up with food to give her, March runs away through the window.

Fushi is set outside the city with Kamu and some of the soldiers; they guarded his connection to the city of Renril while Fushi fights off the Nokkers farther away, extending his roots. Fushi eventually gets a nosebleed from how much he's using his powers and focusing on protecting all of Renril. As the Nokkers start climbing up the walls, Fushi has to flash back to the city walls and start firing arrows down at them. They decide to use fire to attack which works well in their favor.

Fushi's Exhaustion

to your eternity - overtaxed

The strain Fushi has been under finally takes its toll when Fushi collapses. Bon tries to wake him up while Kahaku berates them for overworking them. They try and figure out why he can't refresh himself like when he was rebuilding the city, but Kahaku thinks this is a different kind of exhaustion. With Fushi out of commission, the humans finally have to start pulling their weight.

Nokkers are climbing up the walls, and some have already possessed corpses. Eko's presence snaps people out of their panic; she cuts her hair, puts on a helmet, and draws a sword, ready for battle. Eko, Bon, Messar, Kahaku, Hairo, and Kai prepare for battle, armed to the teeth and without Fushi.

Fushi wakes up later to Eko still guarding him, and Hairo's fake teeth in his hand. Fushi desperately starts sweeping mentally through the city, feeling the people walking all over him, and realizes that there are significantly fewer people. As the fog from the current storm clears, Fushi can make out Kahaku fighting nearby. Fushi asks what's happened, but Kahaku reports that nothing has changed sense the first attack. Fushi passed out, and they still fought on. Bon went to give the princess a report, and when Fushi asks about the others, Kahaku doesn't answer.

Eko in Battle

To-Your-Eternity- Eko fights

In horror, Fushi runs to find any reflective surface and feels his heart breaks as he is able to shift into Kai, Hairo, and Messar. Heedless to Fushi's grief, Kahaku happily reports that the Nokkers have not passed the outer wall because of his combat skills. Fushi collapses, and that's when Bon reappears to issue new orders. Kahaku is to join Kamu and the other soldiers in defending the wall, completely outing the Guardian as being possessed by a Nokker so he could fight to his full capacity.

Bon tells Fushi that we shouldn't forget the three warriors, and Fushi creates their bodies, wanting to see their faces in his despair. Eko shows Fushi how they died: Messar got possessed by a Nokker, and the Eastern Battlefront where Hairo and Kai ran to exploded. As soon as Messar started showing symptoms, Kahaku killed him, swearing, dead eyed, to protect Fushi.

Cautious of Fushi's mental state, Bon apologies for not being up tot task but reminds him that the battles not over. Fushi assures him that he's aware and swears to murder all of the Nokkers. Fushi then joins the battlefield himself.
