To Your Eternity season 2, episode 14, "Morning of Rebirth", is the episode we've all been waiting for. Fushi accidently resurrects an older character, and the Nokkers finally begin their assault on Renril.

The episode begins with Fushi finally speaking to the princess about rebuilding the Renril royal castle, the only building in the entire city that is not a part of Fushi's greater body. She says before that happens, he needs to talk to her father to get the final say-so. The king has been sick the entire time which is why the princess has been put in charge, but when Fushi goes to meet him, his bedroom is completely empty. The princess freaks out, and while she does that, Fushi runs off and hunts down a source of intense pain from somewhere in the castle.

The King of Renril

to your eternity - renril king

He finds an old man reclined on a stylized gurney, staring at the sky. The two talk for a moment, Fushi instantly offering to help this man in any way possible. The man is amused by this offer, and its around this time that the princess reappears, revealing this man to be her father. She asks him point-blank if Renril should put their faith in this immortal man, and the king gives his casual consent. The princess happily reveals her face to Fushi, showing her trust, and commenting on how kind Fushi is as a person. The people of Renril watch in awe as Fushi destroys the palace.

While clearing the rubble, Princess Pocoa shows up with Chabo and Iris, and she lends the assistance of the Uralis army to clean up for one last hurrah before the battle begins. We get a cute little adventure of Pocoa wandering around Reneril, looking for love. She gets discouraged by Hairo who states that while he is close to her age at eighteen, he was not looking for a girlfriend. She gets blown off by Messar, and she finally finds Fushi, the horse, and Eko looking at some weaponry. Pocoa is introduced to Eko, and that's when Kahaku shows up, telling Fushi that Bon is looking for him. Fushi vanishes - because the entire of Renril is his body - so Pocoa was blown off again.

She comments that while Kahaku is handsome, she hates his insides. She tells him there's no way she'd be his girlfriend, and Kahaku muses over how rude she is. Pocoa then brings up that Kahaku still loves Fushi even though he's a man right now and Kahaku readily confirms that. He even states that it feels like his love is being tested right now. Kahaku states that he loves Fushi no matter what form he takes.

Elsewhere, Fushi appears before Bon in a little house where Bon asks him to make the drug that he used to put people to sleep to save Bon's life. Fushi does it instantly, not realizing that it would knock him out instead. Fushi falls unconscious on a pile of hay, and that's when Kai, Hairo, and Messar walk in. Eko and the horse instantly start running towards the house, leaving Pocoa and Kahaku behind.

Fushi's Insecurities

to your eternity - fushi's insecurities

Those two speak about the Nokker in Kahaku's arm and why he won't get rid of it? Kahaku says that its almost like how you can't choose your parents, and the Nokker also chimes in with its usual writing. It states that it doesn't know what would happen if it leaves sense it is one of the Nokkers with a body. Nokkers are just emotion, just fye, so they want to get rid of all the bodies that hurt so much.

First they're upset, but Bon mentions that it's time to address one of the main problems in the room, and Bon asks the Beholder to make an appearance. Kai knew about this person from Tonari's book, but both him, and Hairo, and Messar were surprised to find out he existed. The Beholder mildly acknowledges Bon's abilities to see things that should be hidden, but his eyes are only on Fushi. He comments that any concerns about the battle need to be made to Fushi, giving the impression that he could not care less.

Bon asked the Man in Black if he had the power to stop the coming Nokker battle. The Beholder admitted he probably could, but he only wants to watch what Fushi is going to do. He fully admits that all the death will only add to Fushi's growth sense Fushi will one day be his replacement, allowing him to cease to be. Bon asks him if he ever plans on freeing Fushi, and there is a statement that it will one day.

Messar attacks, stabbing the Beholder in the back. There's some blood, but the Beholder blasts Messar back effortlessly. He easily crushes the sword without even touching it and leaves the crumpled ball on the ground as he disappears into the ground. They take a moment, but Bon again asks if those three are still willing to board a ship that has been sabotaged.

Renril Prepping for Battle

to your eternity - renril prepping

Pocoa is taking her leave, and Renril is ready. They have their weapons, and their rations, and Fushi has properly integrated into the city. The citizen of Renril were being escorted to Uralis, and Fushi gives his friends one last chance to get out while they still could because he didn't think he'd be able to protect them all. He was worried that people would regret coming here to help.

Kai tells him that regret was what every single one of them had in their past, and Messar yells at Fushi for getting cold feet. Hairo states that they're not jumping ship now, and Bon tells him that they didn't come here to die, they came here to restart their lives. They start hashing out specific strategies for the battle like knocking on something three times in order to get Fushi's attention and leave some of Fushi's forms around the city so he came move around faster.

One of the forms he leaves around is March on the city walls, a loop of rope around her wrist, connecting her to Fushi's mega form of Renril city. There is a montage of prepping before we settle on Eko sitting on the castle walls, looking out past the city. She suddenly jumps up and grabs Fushi's attention, letting him know the Nokkers have arrived.

Nokkers quickly launch a boulder at the city walls, rocking the foundations, and jump-starting the year long promised battle. The attack knocks the form of March off the city walls, slipping free of the rope that connected her to Fushi. Her body lands in a garden of flowers, and, sense this is a body left free with a willing fye nearby, her eyes open for the first time in over a hundred years, just as alive as the day Fushi met her.
