Titans got a renewal for its fourth season following the DC FanDome event. The HBO Max series is currently airing its third season, with the finale coming soon.

Expect to see many reveals in the upcoming Titans finale, but fans should rest assured knowing that any cliffhangers or questions they have will be addressed in the next season. It would be harder for fans to wait if Titans season 3 ended without there being an official confirmation of its renewal.

News of the Titans season 4 was announced during DC FanDome through a teaser that showcased many of the fight scenes from all three seasons of the live-action television show. Raven, Nightwing, Beast Boy, Robin or Nightwing, and even Superboy can be seen fighting during the trailer. Following the fight montage, a title card that says 'Season 4' was shown, which is good for fans who were afraid of seeing the show end. Those who wanted the Titans 'panel' during the DC FanDome 2021 live stream heard the news of season 4 when Brenton Thwaites, who portrays Nightwing, appeared to confirm the renewal and thank fans for their support.

The show does a good job at establishing its identity without heavily relying on the bigger characters such as Batman or Superman. They're referenced to and teased on Titans, but the series does not revolve around them. Titans also takes place in its own contained universe, that way it has creative storytelling freedom without having to copy the animated show or the live-action films.

The show also rides the line between being brutal and an easy watch for fans. Titans isn't too dark that it could deter fans from watching, but it's also not too light that it would repulse those looking for a story with stakes in it. The art department also did a good job at bringing the vastly different outfits or costumes to life in this live-action rendition. Many fans wanted to see Nightwing in real life, and now they got it.

With Titans season 3 about to end, fans will have to wait a little while longer before season 4 even gets a release date. In the meantime, there were a host of titles at DC FanDome that should keep fans busy while they wait.

Titans is now available on HBO Max.
