Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has just released a new hotfix that targets a handful of bugs and kicks off a new limited-time weekly Mini-Event. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands players will also be facing an all-new Featured Run in the Chaos Chamber now that the leaderboards have been reset for the week.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is the latest looter-shooter RPG from Gearbox Software, a spinoff of the popular Borderlands series which has been running since 2009. The game has many similarities to other Borderlands titles such as a massive variety of weapons, customizable skill trees, and a chaotic sense of humor that has persisted since the very first Borderlands' opening cinematic. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has been a fairly successful twist on the formula, with many players enjoying the tabletop RPG elements and humor, though with some frustration due to the game's bugs along with some disappointment regarding its DLC content.

In an effort to keep improving the game Gearbox has been updating Tiny Tina's Wonderlands at a regular pace, usually with small updates on a weekly basis along with major patches periodically that make broader adjustments. This latest update brings the game up to version 1.0.3.5d and includes a modest amount of changes. A Shroomoner enemy in the Ron Rivote side mission has been fixed to remain active and hostile, along with fixing a skeleton in "Hero of Brighthoof" that could prevent mission progress. As for weapons, "The Message" legendary Torgue pistol now correctly displays the magazine size from its item card, and Dahlia Snipers with a certain foregrip now also display their correct magazine size.

The update also begins another weekly rotation for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, including Crystalline Chaos, this week's Mini-Event. This event takes place in the Chaos Chamber and affects the rate at which crystals are rewarded. Base crystals for Bonus Objectives and Switches have been doubled, while base crystals for room clearing and Big Reward Dice have been increased by 50%. The Mini-Event will run from June 16 to June 29. This week's Featured Run features Wastard, a magic-using boss that Fatemakers have likely encountered once or twice during their adventures in the realm of Bunkers and Badasses.

Small weekly hotfixes are always a good sign of a game's health as they show that developers are working each week on making improvements and listening to player feedback. While players wait for more Tiny Tina's Wonderlands content to be released, the game's rewarding and challenging weekly Mini-Events are a worthwhile activity in the meantime.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
