Tiny Tina's Wonderlands features a huge assortment of loot for players to find, including an old friend from Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep (players' first glimpse into her Bunkers & Badasses World.) The Swordsplosion, originally an E-Tech Shotgun that was rewarded to the player after a lengthy quest in Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, can now be found as a legendary weapon in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a first-person looter-shooter with RPG elements by Gearbox Software and 2K. As the Fatemaker, players take on a role in Tiny Tina's newest Bunker's & Badasses adventure, traveling across the wonderlands to loot, shoot, and quest their way to victory. With the fiendish Dragon Lord lying in wait, players must prepare themselves for a tremendous adventure.

Reaching the Wargtooth Shallows

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands_Bones Three-Wood 2

Players seeking the Swordsplosion might get lucky, as legendary weapons can technically drop from any enemy in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, or be found in loot chests. However, like most legendary items, it has improved chances of dropping from a specific boss who can be found in the Wargtooth Shallows.

Players will gain access to this area during the main story, shortly after completing "Thy Bard, with a Vengeance." Players will need to complete most of the main quests in this area before they are able to reach the boss who drops the Swordsplosion. This means helping out Bones Three-Wood in their mission to reassemble their navigator Polly, assemble their crew, and locate the wreckage of their ship.

The Tempest's Scorn

After clearing Bones Three-Wood's quest "Ballad of Bones" up to the stage where they need to confront Lechance, players gain access to an area named "The Tempest's Scorn" within the Wargtooth Shallows. This consists of a slide down to a boss arena where Lechance can be found. The first time this area is reached, players must fight an additional wave of skeletal pirates before Lechance spawns.

Lechance is a skeleton and thus is vulnerable to Frost elemental damage, which will chill him to the bone(s). He fights alongside a small army of skeleton pirates, so making good use of AOE weapons and magic is very useful here. Lechance is one of the easier bosses in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and should prove no issue to players who have already made it this far. It's important to note that the main quest must be progressed to the next area before Lechance will respawn.

The Swordsplosion

Lechance has higher than average odds of dropping the Swordsplosion Legendary Weapon, an incredibly powerful shotgun manufactured by Torgue. This unique weapon fires explosive swords with its primary fire, dealing tremendous damage over an area. Unlike Borderlands 2's version, however, these blades do not split into additional blades on impact before detonating a second time. Making up for the loss of its original trump card, the new Swordsplosion features a tremendous secondary-fire mode.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands_Swordsplosion Altfire

By toggling to Alt-fire, the Swordsplosion fires blades that stick into foes and cause them to receive increased damage per stuck sword. When reloading during Alt-fire, a spectral sword erupts under struck foes, launching them while detonating the stuck swords for massive damage.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is available now for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
