In Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, a Borderlands spinoff, Gearbox Software and 2K players join Tiny Tina's latest Bunker's & Badasses adventure. Like the other games in the franchise, it features looter-shooter gameplay as players journey across the wild world known as the Wonderlands, collecting loot and overcoming deadly foes on their journey to vanquish the sinister Dragonlord.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands features a huge assortment of foes to challenge players on their ongoing journey to defeat the Dragonlord, and Vorcanar the Dragon God is certainly a powerful foe. As the boss fought in Mount Craw during the GTFO Questline, Vorcanar's defeat heralds the end of that questline and acts as the final objective of the GTFO's final quest: "Slayer of Vorcanar."

Reaching Vorcanar

Even reaching Vorcanar to challenge him in battle is no easy feat. To do so, players must progress through the entirety of the GTFO questline, acquired from the quest board in Glitterhoof during chapter 4. This quest leads players on an adventure through Mount Craw, assisting Jar the goblin in her quest to free her comrades from Vorcanar's tyranny. This quest will carry players across the entirety of Mount Craw, fighting through armies of goblins who are "traitors to the cause" alongside troll taskmasters and various other threats, in an ongoing effort to depose Vorcanar and ruin his day.

Most notably, the journey to Vorcanar requires players to fight several strong enemies and minibosses, including Freezicles over at fort Freezicles. The path to Vorcanar's lair is also guarded by a pair of dangerous Oracles that wield some seriously dangerous magic, so it's often safest to clear the area right before them and then use the wall between that area and theirs as cover.

With both Oracles slain, the route into the boss arena is easily accessible.

Upon arriving in the boss arena, players will no doubt notice that Vorcanar looks a little more mechanical than initially suggested, though most of the goblins seem not to have realized this. Vorcanar remains in one location throughout the fight, relying on his potent fire breath and four rotating flamethrowers to harm the player. The main enemy is accompanied by several small wyverns that circle the arena, spitting flames and occasionally diving at the player. Killing the wyverns can be handy if they're being irritating, but keeping some alive is also useful in case the player enters "Save Your Soul" mode and needs to get a kill.

Vorcanar predominantly attacks using four rotating flamethrowers that circle around him, found at the base of his neck. These can be dodged most easily by jumping over them when they approach the player's location. Vorcanar also regularly attempts to use his fire breath to deal huge damage to anything caught in the blast. He cannot change direction while breathing fire though, so circling around him will keep the player out of danger.

Vorcanar's weak points are the six fire spheres located on the sides of his neck and attacking them will deal critical damage. His main vulnerability is to poison elemental damage. After taking enough damage, these spheres will burst, stunning Vorcanar momentarily and rendering that weak spot immune to further damage. After dropping Vorcanar's health almost all the way, he will slump over, allowing the player to plant an explosive on his head by interacting with it. Shooting this explosive will blow a hole in his head, but restore him to just below half health. Continue fighting him with the same strategy until his health hits zero, and he'll explode, ending the fight and showering the arena in loot.

Vorcanar respawns when the area is reloaded, so this fight can be repeated if players are looking to farm extra loot.
