Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is already shaping to be a beloved Borderlands spin-off despite introducing several new features into the looter shooter genre. From a revamped drop system that uses Lucky Dice, like those scattered around Queen's Gate, to unique classes that pay homage to DnD. But, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands still retains certain elements that previous entries had, like that of over-the-top questlines.

And Goblins in the Garden and A Farmer's Ardor are two overlapping questlines in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands that start as a beautiful love story between a farmer and a villager but ends with a unique twist.

Players can only start these quests after completing Main Quest 3: A Hard Day's Knight.

How to Start Goblins in the Garden

Location of the Quest Board to start Goblins in the Garden in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

After completing Main Quest 3: A Hard Day's Knight, players will gain access to the Quest Board found at Izzy's Pub, where players can respec, customize their characters, or store equipment. Inside the pub, players will see a ! icon on a Quest Board indicating a new quest is available, in this case, Goblins in the Garden.

After accepting the quest, players will need to return to Queen's Gate, where they must meet Alma. Here's a brief overview of the objectives:

  • Meet Alma in Queen's Gate
  • Collect 10 Goblin Teeth
  • Talk to Alma
  • Hand Over Teeth

Once Goblins in the Garden is complete, the follow-up quest A Farmer's Ardor becomes available.

Find Alma in Queen's Gate

Players should then fast travel to Queen's Gate: Buttsville, which is where Alma is located. From the spawn point, players should turn around, where they'll find a large wooden gate which they should go through to reach Alma. Players should then go towards the left side of the area until they reach a large wooden house with an NPC (Alma) at the front door.

Removing the Goblin Infestation and Quest Completion

After speaking to Alma, players will need to head towards the back of the house, where they'll find a small garden that's overrun by Goblins. The player's main task is to collect 10 Goblin Teeth, which drop from Globins after being defeated. So, that means that Goblins will continuously spawn until the player has collected all the teeth.

Once the player has the 10 Goblin Teeth they'll need to return to Alma to complete the quest which rewards them with 1541 XP and $3713. After receiving the rewards, players can now start the follow-up quest: A Farmer’s Ardor. But, this questline will require lots of fighting, so players should make sure they're making the best use of their Hero Stats.

How to Start A Farmer's Ardor

After Alma goes back into their homes, players should make their way back towards the garden, where they'll find Flora (a love interest of Alma). After interacting with them, players will start the quest: A Farmer's Ardor.

Here's a brief overview of the main objectives:

  • Take Flowers to Alma
  • Find Goblin Loincloth
  • Find the Stinkiest Loincloth
  • Find the Dankiest Goblin Loincloth
  • Give Loincloth to Flora
  • Obtain Polka Dot Dye & Give Dye to Flora
  • Collect Bard Tongues & Give Tongues to Flora

As mentioned previously, this quest will require the player to kill several Goblins and Baddass Goblins, so the recommended player level is 7 if players want to complete it without dying too much.

Taking Flowers to Alma and Obtaining All Three Goblin Loincloths

After speaking to Flora, they'll task the player to take a bouquet to Alma. But sadly, Alma isn't interested in them and tells the player that the only way they'll go out with Flora is if a Polka-dotted Poetry reading Goblin recites a love poem.

So after telling Flora about Alma's request, she asks the player to find a Goblin Loincloth located at The Rampart Parts.

The Rampart Parts can be found by returning to the main road that Alma's home is and then heading towards the Castle Gates (that the player previously defended with Paladin Mike). From the Castle Gates, players should turn right and continue towards the large cave, The Rampart Parts. Once the player is at The Rampart Parts, they'll need to obtain three different Loincloths (all of which have a quest marker) and then return to Flora.

Returning to Flora and Obtaining Polka Dot Dye

Once the player has all three Goblin Loincloths, they can return to Flora, where she'll "trap" and give the Loincloth to a Goblin. Then she'll task the player to find the Polka Dot Dye to dye the Goblin. Players will need to use the same catapult Tina made them "ride" in the main quest. Players should be ready to fight lots of Skeleton Mages and Archers in this area (the Graveborn Class will easily take care of them).

From the landing zone, players will need to go forward and enter the area where there are Two Stone pillars and then enter the gate on the left side of that room. Players will then need to dodge a couple of traps before reaching the Polka Dot Dye. Once they obtain the dye, they can return to Flora to continue A Farmer's Ardor questline.

Obtaining Bard Tongues and Quest Completion

After giving Flora the Polka Dot Dye, the player will need to harvest 5 Bard Tongues from Zombie Bards. Players can reach this area by going towards the left side of the garden where Flora is. Then, they'll come across a tiny hole above some boxes, which they can use to mantle into the cave. Once inside, several Zombie Bards will spawn, which can easily be dealt with.

After obtaining 5 Bard Tongues, players can return to Flora which they'll use to transform the Goblin into a Poet. After that, players can follow the questline, which mostly involves returning to Alma and then returning to Flora. After that, players will receive 1541 XP, $3713, and the rare pistol "Goblin Repellant."
